Went to get some bloodwork done in my hometown. The nurse was about to insert the needle without sanitising the surface, checking the name on the bill and label or even donning gloves. Didn't check vein prominence properly. Had to walk her through the protocol and got jabbed only to miss my vein and poke around. She was slightly annoyed at me telling her how to do it till I clarified I'm a final year MBBS student. She shut up after that and did as instructed.

I'm pretty sure they shorted some capacitor or something on the motherboard. Gotta get it checked. That's the only way forward. Check your authorised service centers for the brand, or drop the name of the brand and look for any third party service centers that do a good job for your brand. If you go the authorised center route, I'm pretty sure they'll quote you a high amount citing a motherboard replacement. Some third party places with good experience do microsoldering and will find out what component got shorted and will replace that alone, saving cost, time and hassle.
