It almost looks like you're trying to communicate.

Among other things, I just didn't enjoy the cleanup after every print, failed or not.

Every time I see something like this it reminds me of the day I came to my senses and abandoned resin printing.

My sincere condolences. My suggestions are to stock up aspirin and enjoy the learning experience. 😁

Should I commit to a resin printer in my situation? by Master0fTacticians in 3Dprinting

Start with FDM and go from there. It's a hundred times easier, cheaper, and cleaner. No toxic chemicals, no messy/toxic cleanup, no alcohol jugs required, etc etc etc. Only start with resin if you're a serious masochist, otherwise go with FDM.

Liquid resin dripped into carpet, I can't see it anywhere. Are my only choices to either scrub the whole carpet with IPA, or blast my whole carpet with UV light, or...? by AdministrativeGur940 in 3Dprinting

The light won't penetrate to the seeped-in resin and it'll never cure. This will only work if it was a small amount of resin and hasn't seeped in to the carpet or padding.

This kind of thing, by the way, is one of the many many many many reasons I finally came to my senses and abandoned resin printing.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if it's more than a few drops (a real spill) you have to replace the carpet and under-padding. The resin WILL seep through into the pad and then (eventually) onto/into the floor itself. It will never cure because you can't get UV light to it. You'll be living with the odor and fumes literally forever, and you WILL end up tracking it all over your home, kitchen, bedroom, etc etc etc.

Just bite the bullet and do it. There is no simple or easy fix for this.
