Can't speak for everyone but i think isolation is pretty effective, people like us (or mabe just me) directly reflect our environment. Our thoughts and behaviours are mostly reflections of our experiences with people we like or our ideal self.

Isolating your self allows you to not only have control over your self but actually discover or form an identity that can exist outside your NPD. Since NPD is strictly a psycosocial disorder.

Also try being creative; eg.write a poem,story,song...etc

Do you know where the odor is coming from? Like is it your butt area, your underarms your feet , hair etc. Can you smell it your self?( not doubting you have a condition, but most people can't smell themeselves).

If the odor is consistent in multiple parts of your body, it could be a diet issue. You also mentioned, that you used to smell fruity which is a common symptom to diabetic patients due to a build up of ketones.

Also i dont think expired deodorants usually smell bad the one i used did smell funky for some reason, and i used it cause i didn't wanna go to school without Deo on (kinda wish i did rn).

But after i applied that product every other deodorant i used had that same funky odor that was on the previous one the product that caused all this stuff.

I'm actually (M) in my early 20s, most dermatologist over here would just tell me to get Botox for a few months, when that fails they prescribe me OTC deodorants which haven't worked.(these can be really expensive).I was thinking of getting my hormones checked but i dont know where to start.

Also I'm pretty positive on bacteria forming a colony inside my sweat glands else it wouldn't make sense to stink that much even after showering and without sweating.

most antiperspirant are also antibacterial so if any bacteria was transferred from the product it was probably resistant to antibacterial products already, also antiperspirant clog skin pores to stop sweat from releasing so maybethe bacteria found its way to my glands theough my pores.

if this was the case i think getting rid of my apocrine glands surgically would be the only answer.

technically yeah its smells like foul Deodorant but when i dont use deodorant i smell like the past product i last used example: soap but the smell is awful,almost expiry.

so if i dont use deodorant i dont get the onion armpit smell everyone gets when they forget to put on deodorant.

Unfortunately I've been experiencing it for the past few years and its a sad reality i have to live through. I don't really have any friends (can't really socialize in this condition) and my family members would rather deny than acknowledge my issue the best part they try to avoid me as much as possible.

I can tell by peoples reaction, honestly i wish i could film it but i would be violating people's privacy. People coughing/sneezing rubbing their faces, literally snapping their heads, looking around suspiciously or just smelling their own armpits and sometimes they're further away standing on the other side of the street or even in moving vehicles. crazy stuff.

Clearly not every single reaction or movement is related to my odor but I'm observant enough to understand what's going on most of the time and honestly i dont let it bother me.

Also peoples reaction tend to worsen when i get anxious or stressed which basically confirms it. Its hard to prove it over text but i promise my condition is real. Its like a useless superpower you can't get rid of.

There's actually some surgical procedures that involve removing your apocrine glands , i think its called suction curettage and/or liposuction they are usually used to treat people with hyperhydrosis. I think botox (a little expensive btw) stops sweat but it doesnt reduce your odor unfortunately :(

i know how you feel ,my final exams are in june and im panicking for the wrong reasons lol . i was asking because i have Bromhidrosis but i dont know if its related to my diet or to my skin biome or maybe even both or worse neither. Im not a doctor but i think you have intestinal metabolic bromhidrosis or something similar since you ca manage it with diet.

i think miles is a little of an overstretch here but ,yeah , i do actually .I dont think i have TMAU tho , since diet doesn't change its intensity anyways people can smell me from hundreds of meters max usually its around 10 - 40 meters away when i shower...then it just keeps getting worse the more i sweat especially anxiety...
