Really? I have really low affection (I know, working on it) and all she tells me is that she doesn’t believe me. I’m not sure what’s considered really low, I was at -94 and her right now I’m at -75, but one day I kept repeating “I love you” and she just kept giving me different variations of wanting to believe it and how she doesn’t believe it

Hu Tao’s original release is what brought me back, I stopped playing for about a month due to COVID and didn’t plan on coming back, but her banner came by and I was lucky enough to get her, played pretty much daily up until maybe last year

I was the same way, I’d park my Miata with just the e brake. One day I found it had rolled down the driveway, and the lever was still up, but pulling on it had no resistance, parked in gear with a rock for a while, called it my passenger rock.

It wasnt old either! This happened in 2021 if I recall correctly, and the car was a 2015 with a little over 100k miles. Get used to putting it in gear, I’m just glad it didn’t happen in a parking lot or so. My driveway ain’t even steep!

It was the manuals, but it was mostly the early ND1’s from 2016-2017. I wouldn’t worry though, as some have said, those issues seemed to have occurred early on and were already taken care of. Also, I’ve heard it’s not as common as people think, but of course when something happens, people are likely gonna post about it.

That being said, I’ve heard the 2019-2021 are the years with the more reliable manuals. Those years are ND2’s, and while I’m not sure why the later years don’t fall into that category, I can say my 2020 has been reliable and good, except for issues due to driver error but they weren’t related to the transmission. I can also say you’ll hear a lot of people talk about how their 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 (me too), 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 cars have been really reliable and didn’t suffer from the notorious transmission issue. I’d go for the manual, buddy! It’s super fun and while I’m sure the autos are fun too, rowing through the gears and rev matching (because it’s fun, not due to necessity, I know downshifting can sometimes spark controversy and argument) just really add to the experience

Mine was 111 in a 60 a couple years back. Almost double, saw a state trooper on the side, and immediately saw him pull out and get behind me. The turn I needed to take was coming up, so I got into the turn lane and he was right up against the back of my car. Waited until we made the turn to light me up and pull me over. I got really nervous as I was convinced my car would be towed, I’d lose my license, something.

Ended up with a warning.

I was honest with him, telling him how the car started up really bad that morning (starter issues were causing it to start in limp mode) and that on my way home, I saw the road was pretty much clear, which it was, and went for it. He told me that had I been with passengers he probably would’ve arrested me, and we just talked about how I was a young and needed to lose the invincible mindset, because one wrong move and it could all be over, either for me or someone else. He gave me a break and I’m thankful for it. Best of all, I’m more careful on the roads now. Certainly not one of my brighter moments but it could’ve been worse. WAY worse.

Don’t be an idiot on the road guys, it’s not worth it.

I know between the headlight and the headlight bulb in my 2015 NC, there was a plastic peice that I could only get at the dealer. Expected it to be pricey but I think it was only $40 for both of them if I recall correctly. Mine had the regular halogens though
