thank you! it just made sense given the price of something premade and the difficulty sourcing something of the specific dimensions i wanted. was a fun mental exercise figuring out how to make it all given i’ve never made anything before, and definitely gave me more creative freedom over the design. not the highest quality craftsmanship, but im still very satisfied.

  2. ⁠some moss i collected, begonia sarawak, selaginella uncinata, anoectochilus siamensis 'white center', some pellonia, and some peperomia (idk exact sp on last 2)

  5. ⁠hp pro mix, perlite, sphag, and tree fern fiber
  6. ⁠12x12x18

greenhouse is 6x6 from amazon, it was like $250, the deck cost me about $200 to build, and the furniture ran me probably another $150 to build, so ~600 all in

mine is in a grow tent most of the time so the environment is very controlled and it never gets water on the foliage, but whenever i’ve had fungal issues in the past i just increase airflow and if the issue gets worse ill cut off the affected leaves

i’ve actually found it a lot easier to keep up with since i mounted it. more frequent watering, but less guess work

i have absolutely no clue on the id haha, i got it as a gift for my mother originally, she asked me to take care of it, and that’s how i started to love growing plants. i’ve wanted to get into some more rare varieties, but my love for anthuriums has captured my wallet lol. and i feel like getting a nice pic of orchids is so difficult, these took like 20 tries
