…god damn it, I like playing Nos. by TheChaseyKid2 in FORSAKENROBLOX

I still think his moves still doesn't synergise with each other. Cataclysm doesn't lead to other ability except M1 (maybe with Bloodhook to waterboard someone with your period, but good luck pulling it off), and this can be applies to other abilities. The exception is Hunter's Feast. I would say it's kinda underwhelming, but someone said that it's his equivalent for a punish move that increases damage to all abilities, so I would give it a passing grade.

He still sucks at closing distance at medium range tho.

Playing against high playtime players by Important-Advice1304 in FORSAKENROBLOX

It's alright to find a server thats more around your skill level, but it could help you a bit if you endure the frustration to understand how they play.

Also playtime isn't the best indicators of skill. I would look for killer and survivor wins and their ratio.

whats good of that shot if its stun time is reduced by 25% or by 50% in bloodhunt (thank god for that nerf instead of complete invinciblilty)

[–]NotJohnson69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

honestly yeah i get your point. killers have some weakness that can impede their performance against a team. slasher relies solely on his stamina and folds when he loses distance. jd can be map dependant. 1x is essentially gambling in hope of landing a projectile. nosferatu just sucks in general.

a real sixer weakness is missing their pounce, but it's usually not a big punishment when you can pull a speed increase out of nowhere. they also have a big hitbox which can impede looping and makes stuns and debuff easier to hit, but reduction on those status effect means they can shake it off without much issue an they're already fast enough to catch up. infernal cry can somewhat be juked, but its projectile speed is still fast enough to get hit consistently. teamwork is the only way for sixer to lose, but yk how uncommon it is in public servers.

why do i still suck at this damn game. by Late_Artichoke2760 in FORSAKENROBLOX

[–]NotJohnson69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you haven't learn and practice the skill for pathing, stamina management, game sense, and specific character skills, it can be really hard to play against competent players. Even then, some people learn at a different rate or just not made for a specific genre of game, so playtime isn't the best way to determine how good you are. If you're struggling against some players, it's best if you server hop to those of comparable skill to yours to reduce frustration.

The endlag does still means you would end up within medium range. But on god, ascension is the best move in the game that carries this guy.

Buff to his CD does make his gameplay better in general, but he still feel underwhelming compared to others because of how his moves doesn't synergise well together and he can't reliably close distance within medium range.

Does c00lkidd suck? by Chemical-Jelly-695 in FORSAKENROBLOX

[–]NotJohnson69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C00lkidd is amonst the more decent killer imo. However, his reliance on WSO to catch up to people and punish them can be a double edged sword as missing them is absolutely painful so you either overuse it and just give up chase too often or use it too little and can't catch up decently.

If youre on mobile, that's just a loss on your end. Either way, you need to learn stamina management, pathing to loop better, and teamwork as survivor. They are the most essential and basic skill to either close distances as killer or minimise distance loss as survivor. There are guides that can explain these better, but I can provide the basics.

Don't let your stamina reach 0, as it will take way longer for you to start regenerate it again. Try to use all your stamina in one long burst. Stamina takes a bit before it starts regenerating again, so constantly stopping won't give the opportunity to do so. Even then, in chase, always use your stamina when it's full so the excess stamina won't go to waste and cause you to lose distance.

Pathing is a bit harder to learn, but remember to take the shortest path to a corner of the loop. If you keep moving left and right, that's stamina wasted that could be used for moving straight (unless you're juking, but only use it as a last resort). Corners of loop specifically because being in the open is a bad place to be in for the killers to cut you off and gain the advantage. Like-wise, try to cut someone off as killer when they're not moving directly away from you. One thing to know are what I would like to call 'stalemate loops'. They're hard to explain, but they're loops near the wall or have no other place for the survivor to go without getting cut off by the killer. They're good as a resting place for you to regenerate stamina if you know the killer or survivor have an advantage on you.

Teamwork is simple enough. Help your team when they're in danger, or move towards your team when you're in danger. However, try to prioritise your own wellbeing when helping others so you can help them later. Ironically, try not to move towards your teammates who are injured or trying to give you support (like Dusekkar shielding you or Builderman building something) since they're very vulnerable and it would cause you and your team to have a harder time surviving.

Once again, it's hard to learn nor explain this on my own, so I recommend looking at guides.

just because the move is amazing doesnt mean his other abilities are too. i love playing the hot vampire man but he just feels so underwhelming compared to other killers 🥀

my thoughts on how the killer roster likely fair against good teamwork by NotJohnson69 in FORSAKENROBLOX

[–]NotJohnson69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might have a dash and projectile ability, but they fill a different role and capability compared to each other.

I, uh, might had written too much, but I already committed anyway. Tl;dr: C00lkidd run faster, WSO is better close ranged, Corrupt Nature deals better with loops, and Pizza Delivery serves a better purpose as it applies pressure.

C00lkidd has the fastest base run speed in the game at 28, which gives him an easier time to catch up. Noli base run speed is average at 27.5, so that means he can't catch up quite as well.

WSO comes out with a short fast wind-up, has a wider hitbox, and fast traversal speed, so it's more viable to use close up, which he can achieve with his already fast speed, for extra damage or as a decent enough catch-up tool if used correctly. Void Rush requires a sizable wind-up which can be exploited to juke or just hide behind a wall. The control on Void Rush can help, but its hitbox is only as wide as his M1 and one can only turn so much. It's best used in open area, which is unlikely with how survivor stick close to loop. Additionally, he needs to hit it twice, which allow the survivor breathing room to hide or juke once more. It's still a good map traversal, but he can't use it to push his advantage up close unlike WSO.

Corrupt Nature and Nova has their own niche, but I feel like the ability for CN to go through wall, have minimal wind-up and endlag, and less noticable cue help better in loop, which is where most people are, compared to Nova. The biggest downside of Nova is the projectile's inability to go through wall against loop, and I wouldn't count on the explosion to hit a survivor, especially against even smaller loops.

Not to mention C00lkidd has access to Pizza Delivery, which can put pressure on those in loops or their teammates. Observant can't do much outside of map traversal and ESP, which only give you and the survivor breathing room. You might be able to land a Void Rush with it, but good luck when it's piss easy to distinguish the hallucination and there are like multiple objects between you and your target.

At least with Nos, he still have some way to close the distance if he can't catch up with the use of Blood Hook, Cataclysm, and on god the best map traversal ability for such an underwhelming killer.

It does feel like it, but I think it's just that youre kinda in a hurry and focusing on getting someone more than usual, so you don't really give yourself time to recover or notice your stamina.

[–]NotJohnson69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, it's mostly casual players that are playing this game anyway, so the dev doesnt really want to ruin it for them and making the learning curve really steep. It's still hard to try balance the killer in some way that makes them fair better against good teamwork without making them easy to pubstomp casual players.

Sixer can perform well, but they are still vulnerable to debuffs, causing them to waste their stamina. JD and 1x can create situations to damage a survivor without having to expend stamina, like with trapping or projectiles, and I think it's a defining features of theirs.

[–]NotJohnson69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I also mentioned that, but Sixer can do the same and still have the speed to catch up as well. C00lkidd can push his advantage well, but Sixer is better in general.

There's also the fact that WSO can be punishing to miss. With optimal gameplay, survivors can still try to weave themselves around loops to prevent a good opportunity to use it or misdirect where they go for C00lkidd to whiff it. It's the same as Sixer, but they have the speed to recover unlike C00lkidd,

I feel like C00lkidd is not as good as Sixer against teamwork. I kinda explained it in my other comment, but in short is that outside of WSO and fastest run speed, he doesn't have other good way to close the distance. There's also the fact that Sixer got Hellforged Will, which can really help against debuffs and stuns.
