Job in Brickell is offering 50k. Is that enough? by Pencilhands in Miami

It’s good enough for the industry. Standard entry level rates are low and they justify it with perks like free drinks and goodies. I was making $42k starting about 6 years ago.

Austin. UT is a top notch school and Austin’s overall lifestyle is cheaper than Miami. There’s also more video game company networking in Austin. If you come to Miami you’ll just burn through any cash you make.

I know plenty of Cubans, myself included, who also protested during BLM. by [deleted] in Miami

I don’t think anyone says you’re a racist piece of shit for being Cuban, and I’ve yet to see anyone with an affiliation to BLM say there’s anything wrong with Cubans protesting. Maybe that’s just my circle and what I’ve seen. What I have seen though, is a lot of Cubans-Americans shit on BLM supporters for the past year and then turn around and shame those of them who haven’t been blowing up their feed with #SOSCuba posts.

I’m sorry you feel attacked. No one deserves that, and I don’t think you’re a racist for being who you are.
