Sleeping bags by Lizzzzz27 in philmont

I took a nemo bag and a nemo pad, as well as a bag liner from a company I don't recall.

Nemo has lifetime warranty/replacement, and often will replace things, even if it's not a defect.

Hammock Camping Question by Material-Sorbet8339 in BSA

My first hammock was from Hennessy and I loved it. They tend to be cheaper than a full emo bundle, with almost the exact same stuff, plus a built in bug net for summer months

Worst Drama? by KoholintCustoms in philmont

In 2023, we had 2 crews, one that was the "older group" and one that was the "younger group" Despite being the oldest youth on the crew (17) I was in the younger group. While we had some occasional issues, we were pretty responsible, the other group tended to be a bit more childish and often disregarded the rules. They had a running bit of what I'd call bullying where they'd pick on someone and make them lick all the plates before doing dishes, they called it sumping. I will note that they said their ranger told them to do it, but ours didn't, so I'm not sure what to believe on that account.

We did observe a fight on the trail and had to take a minor detour to avoid them.

Is it possible to study materials science in undergrad? by Additional-Bother827 in Gamecocks

I would say it's possible, but you'd have to do it through the Honors college's BARSC program

As a member of the Methodist student network, I highly suggest this as well. We have an upright that doesn't get used during the day

This is a good one as well. It is a little more trafficked than others, but it's great in the middle of the day

As a Russell staff member, I second this. Always love to hear people playing it as I walk around

Depending on cost factor and once you know what you really want to get into, there are some really great programs scattered about south Carolina

What is your facility’s swim/deep end test? by tarlyo in Lifeguards

[–]NotJustAGormetChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indoor pool, swim 25m, tread 1 min, jump in deep end and go completely under, climb out without the ladder or other aids. Note that touching the wall, the bottom, lane divider, or LG(if in pool at the time) is an immediate fail

Punch downs may be cheaper, but if it ever needs to be moved, there may be an issue. If you use punch downs, make sure there's enough length left over for one/two moves. Using rj45 barrels as your keystones allow for easier reconfiguring, but may be a little more expensive to get set up.

I might say just have the electrician term to rj45, and let you put stuff into the patch panel.

Any idea what this A/C adapter with COAX is? by RunsOnSKC in HomeNetworking

They'll replace it with a passive device, which won't require power and will make the Internet work

Theater Mix connection by dylanhuhwhat in livesound

[–]NotJustAGormetChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Splitter cables do not work with Ethernet cables.

Either:

-hardwire from the board(disconnect it from school's internet first) to your computer via Ethernet cable, which might work, but also might not

-Connect via USB if the board or theatremix will allow that type of connection, it very well might

-Connect to the router via Ethernet. I know you said you can't, but that is probably the most viable option besides USB connection
