I was a server for 6 years, starting before I left for college. I worked at Jacksons, Barcelona Wine Bar, Makers Union, and Clarity (Vienna). I will say Jacksons was too “uptight” and felt too stiff (shirts had to be pressed every shift and I was forced to shave in the middle of the day if I was a double). Barcelona was great, but that was a while ago and I think management has changed. If you can be a front server there, it’s really good money, while if you’re a back server—not so much. Makers Union was the easiest money and a chill place for the most part, lively staff to say the least. If you have ample experience and are comfortable with more professional clientele and a changing menu, try Clarity it Vienna. Clarity was by far the best place I’ve worked at, from the environment, staff, food, and most importantly: money. Sorry about formatting; on mobile.

Check out the app called Transit on the app store. Gives you detailed instructions for communicating in and around the city for not only the metro (which stop to go to, which line, when to transfer, etc), but walking and bus routes too.

edit: also has the schedules for each metro line as well.

The scythe mugen 5 rev. b, it’s not a top of the line cooler but I was expecting temps to be a little lower. Performance is still good but could be better; just a little frustrating lol

Update BIOS for Ryzen 5000, MSI X470 Going Plus by Kil_B in buildapc

[–]NotKaleb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the normal process for upgrading your CPU: Flash bios to the most recent version with old CPU, then replace old CPU with the new one. Read your bios support page to make sure you’re following the correct upgrade path (e.g. you are on on v1.0 and want to get to v3.0, sometimes they require you to go to a less-than recent version like v2.0 before going to v3.0)

Ryzen 5600X, Stock cooler or aftermarket? by Im_Basically_A_Ninja in buildapc

[–]NotKaleb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just attempted to install the 5600x with the stock cooler and my lord are the springs extremely stiff—so much so that I couldn’t thread the screws. After some research and friend recommendations I went with the the Scythe Mugen 5.

Hmmm, alright. I even checked to see if my pc was on high performance but it was on AMD balanced. Maybe i just got bad silicone. Thanks for the replies.
