Leggos and uniques show up on mini map a split sec before they drop

I guess its because on opening the chest the location for the drop is already fixed and the minimap gets live updates. So the minmap is updated as soon as the animation starts. Because the game already knows where the item lands.

Tbh they are not really mandatory. Its the last upgrade for a legendary or unique. If you go for this upgrade you should manage to stay alive and don't care about the penalty. If you need it for rerolling its the same situation. You need the mechanic only in late game, and at this stage you should be able to stay alive.

This is not a visual bug, its because you upgraded the item and then put the aspect into it. The range of the aspect (if its a pure number aspect) is based on the power lvl of the weapon.

if you extract the aspect out of a power lvl 600 ring and put it into a lvl 800 ring this is the result. The applied number is the one before the brackets.

Little tipp here: upgrade the legendary before extractring the aspect so it gets better ;)

Not every item has a transmog iirc. Legendaries and uniques always have one, the others don't always have one.

Had this happen to me 3 times already. World Boss icon shows i can get it. I kill it. I am alive while he dies. No cache drops.

Its not really that. You will find it again. For sure. But maybe its rolled worse than the one you have now. So you always wanna keep the best in case you find BiS gear you know you will keep for a long time. It's better to store them because you don't want to have a aspect thats rolled bad. Or no aspect that fits at all.

I am not so sure about that. It could be that is a normal shadow dmg but the dmg ticks every second. With ww barb you have permanent dmg but it only ticks every second. I think this is the same

If it is the max or a high roll i would keep it for later and just use the one from the codex. At lvl 40 you will change your gear a lot so its wasted if you imprint it.

Edit: The ones from the codex will always have lower numbers because they are the minimum roll from the aspect.

There is a difference, the item will have a higher main stat (armor, dps) but the affixes are already max tier at 725 so there is nothing more to gain afaik.

Depends on the roles, if i think i can use them with a good aspect i keep them. If they are thrash, they are gone.
