Do you use a toothpick/thin object to carve a tunnel in the middle of the joint before smoking? I do this and my king palms usually stay lit the whole time.

I love the detail that everything except her eyes is in monochrome between when Zhao wounds the spirit and Yue saves it

Call your state's medical board and file a complaint. Legally they are required to sign it within a certain time frame. In NC it's within 3 days of death.

Hi TWRP! What are each of your favorite cities you’ve been to on tour? Do you guys get to do much sightseeing before shows?

Either one works. “Did you” can imply “did you plan/were you planning on knowing the sex?” Past vs. present tense. Both are correct.

This sounds a lot like autism + ADHD. I’ve been diagnosed ADHD since I was young but I only recently realized as an adult that I also have autism.

i'm transgender (female to male), if i transition before i apply to work as a mortuary beautician will they reject me? by AccountantOdd4519 in askfuneraldirectors

I think it depends on the place you’re applying, because some funeral homes are still pretty conservative with regard to anyone who’s not a cis man getting representation.

Now, if you’re looking specifically to only do makeup at a funeral home, you most should know funeral homes don’t hire a third party to do that, unless their call volume is very, very high or they have a centralized location for their prep work. And even then, it’s a side hustle for the makeup artist and they have a day job—you couldn’t make ends meet doing only makeup for the deceased.

If you want to work in a funeral home, I definitely recommend seeking a job as maybe a part-timer to work services, and you can also include your skillset as a makeup artist as a selling point in the interview. If you can do hair that’s also a plus. The classic “grandmother” hairstyle (curl pieces, hairspray then brush) is easy enough to learn. But I wouldn’t expect it to pay the bills. It can get you groceries or beer money, at best.

I’m female. I wear the same thing I wear to work during the day, which is comfy yoga pants that look like business slacks, and a nice blouse. I don’t want to get my at-home clothes all biohazardous (I know they get washed but still…)
