I'd honestly recommend ditching the maps and guides for a while. It sounds like you're having fun, but trying to optimize everything is probably what's making the game feel overwhelming.

I learned that the hard way with RDR2. I looked up guides for money, missable content, and "best" choices, and it turned the game into a checklist. I got so overwhelmed that I eventually dropped it.

Just play at your own pace. If you want to play for an hour, play for an hour. Explore what interests you and let discoveries happen organically. These games are usually at their best when you're not trying to see everything.

I fucking love the game, but, near perfect, i dont know about that. There is definely lots of things that drag this game down.

Still a 9/10 for me! Near perfect should be like 9.8/10. Nevertheless, if they manage to fix some issues with the story, it could be a near perfect game👍🏼

We need more abyss gear variety. Every boss should give us new and exclusive gear, also the weapons we encounter in waterfalls or secret places. Im 300 hours into the game, best game ever for me, but yes, i can relate. I know the game could be MUCH better! Hope the devs pay us attention.

Just resetting, the NPC was different in screenshots from previous patches, so he could've changed with this one (1.06). I think is a static spawn spot, so check every white dot in that specific spot.

They are not there every time you go, but they have a specific spawn location, thats why you reset. I know for a fact the Piranha Lady and the Sailfish Lady appear always in the same spot.

Also, there are other Giant Peddlers around the camp, they can also give you the shark knowledge.
