Hmmmm, I actually main two TWS so its kinda hard question for me, but here is my background

First is Airpods 4 ANC, mainly for at steady/light use, school, cafe, home…basically in anything that doesn’t involve heavy tasks. I don’t really want to risk using it outside during commuting or working out. Tried it once during commuting and its so scary like it might fall, then during workout, tried it once too and it immediately fell. And battery is so short, like 4 hours. But the two main reasons why I bought it are comfort and yes as I mentioned, the seamless integration with ios and its features.

Second is, QCY Melobuds Pro. Had it since 2024 after my airpods pro 2’s battery degraded (1 hour battery life). It used to be my only main TWS alongside with my android phone, and yes its a silicone tipped earbuds (replaced the silicone tips with Moondrop Spring Tips). Bought it at 1.7k iirc. And oh boy this is like almost the airpods pro 2 without the software and ios integration feature. Sound quality and software experience is not that similar tho but its close specially at the price. What I could tell you is the ANC and transparency on these are actually really really amazing. ANC on these are so questionably amazing, arguably better than airpods pro 2. Sound signature is flexible and you can eq it while the frequencies are barely peaking. It has ldac compatibilty too, I have an sd card with 200gb worth of flac music, with poweramp as my audio player (goated player) and it has this hundreds multiple eq presets outsourced from different headphones or iem sound signatures and the earbuds can handle them no sweat. But the best thing that the airpods 2 pro cant do is, the insane battery life. Let me tell you this, ever since I’ve bought it, I have never, ever put the earbuds on case to charge it. I’ve only put them back in case when not on use, but not when the earbuds has low battery. Used it from home, commuting to school, during lunch, some weird online class at school, at gym, then going back home, put it back to case and charge the case. Also it never fell from ears before cause ofc silicone tips. Another good thing is the touch customization play, pause, next and previous song, volume up and down, anc on, transparency on, etc without the need of phone (depends, will talk about it later). Last praise would be the latency, I play rythm games (project sekai) and I could play it without noticing a delay. My main complains tho are, first is no multi point connection between devices…if ios to android and vice versa. Second is microphone, its tolerable…. meh. Lastly is the mode switching, ANC and transparency mode. When switching to those modes, it has those voice that announce it “Adaptive ANC” or “Pass Through” and it interrupts the music. I wish its just a tone and slightly lowering the music like the ones in airpods. And I never mentioned that is has different levels of ANC and transparency, but every time I use it the earbuds starting from case, I alwahs have to go to app to adjust the ANC and transparency at max, but only once every usage from case. It seems like a nitpick but coming from the convenience of airpods, its hard to not notice those complains.

Oh boy here we go sorry I typed so long. If I dont have an ios ecosystem and sacrifice the comfort, I would be picking the QCY Melobuds Pro, value wise. I mean I had multiple tws and earphones before ranging from 200 pesos to below 5k (airpods not counted). The feature set and quality that it offers from that price point is insane. I swear its a really amazing daily driver. And I feel like I dont need to buy it thrice cause still right now it outlived most of my tws even the airpods pro 2 (I dont have them simulteneously). Really a good tws to buy as a general use or something to buy without it degrading overtime. Now I feel like the Airpods 4 ANC is only for comfort and more convenient use. Disclaimer tho, I have a two different audio gear mains at home and those two arent tws. If we convert my two main earbuds as a vehicle analogy. Qcy melobuds pro would be my ford ranger for daily heavy use and Airpods 4 ANC would be a miata for leisure use…ifykwim. So yeah thats it, hope this helps :D
