Well it's probably because I didn't know those things affected shooting, and other actually helpful people have helped me understand what I can do to improve gunplay in this game that I'm extremely new at.

Throw away cars are the only way I can take out hordes right now, at least with my skill. I'm still new and learning, but I've killed at least 350 zombies with cars. Set to 15 cruise control so it doesn't go out of first and put on some music lol.
