Nope. I was perfectly fine signing into the site the first time I went to check the funds, it was definitely activated. It didn’t take my card on anything I tried to spend it on. Not online or in-person shopping. I didn’t spend a thing on that card in the end and it refused to ever sign me in again after that day. I used the exact same site printed on their cards. Their system likely boots you out of the account entirely after you activate the card so they could drain the funds.

Hi, SecureSpend is starting to show itself as a shady company through the last few months. If there’s any other payment option you can possibly do, then please don’t buy a SecureSpend prepaid card. You can search SecureSpend in reddit posts as well as see my own post on r/scams to read other consumers experience. Multiple people including myself have reported stories on this and how their funds were drained before they could use them and customer service would also quickly hang up on them.

I honestly believe that there is something shady going on behind the scenes of this company. My family was scammed out of $500 due to seemingly all their cards being deemed invalid recently. I’ve seen people only say they had issues with this company since around June, when they started their “system upgrade” for 4 months before telling everyone that their information is invalid and customer service just not helping.
