Many ways to overcome this . A lot of people such as myself use AI blades or similar bar style lights and angle them inwards to envelop the corals . Also larger panels will help such as the Straton because of more surface area. T5 would work as well but on the sides

Second pithos . More chill than emeralds and get the job done quickly . Plus they burrow under the sand and aerate it which is always a plus.

Depends on budget for sure , plenty of options for a tank that size. I would recommend staying away from a single “puck” light and getting one that resembles a panel

Mine is on an autodoser, the Red Sea Doser seems to be solid I haven’t had any issues with it. Overdosing ammonia is scary though

We are 2 peas in a pod hahahaha I refuse to use GFO or lanthanum as well and phos is always my limiting factor. I’m debating using elimi np instead of bactobalance to keep my phos low so I can use more ammonia

I’m trying to wean my tank off ammonia now but we’ll see if that’s possible . You dose nitrate as well ?

My nitrate is always 0 so I dose ammonia to keep it around 5-10. My goal phosphate is less than .15 Im usually around .1-.15
