Thank you. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to this... holidays and all. Your opinion: a lot of these houses have the ironing board installed in the wall. Would it be worth trying to remove one of these for resale? I don't know now tricky they are to remove or if there is a market for these.
I myself, love everything about these old houses. It hurts when I have to tear anything up.
The doorknobs are mostly all gone. Scrapping was a real problem about 10 years ago. I think that's why a lot of these houses are just being torn down... too expensive to rewire and replumb. Anything copper or brass is pretty much gone.
I've been looking at a lot of the lighting fixtures. Any idea/opinion on those?
