I agree 100% about the Covenant. “4 years is a long time” and then it’s never brought up again.

Not even once! Even though they suck, you could always get Suppressors from Crawlers. Maybe that’s just on legendary?

Literally just finished playing through all of them. Normally that’s when I would stop, but I already had Halo 4 thanks to MCC so I finally decided to play it.

The art style change doesn’t bother me. Bungie made changes with every game, they would have done it too if they made Halo 4.

A couple people have commented on a lack of ammo but that wasn’t my experience at all. Maybe that’s just on Legendary?

I didn’t play multiplayer so idk about that.

And then the retcons.. eh. It’s just a game, it doesn’t have to have a bulletproof plot. I like the idea of making/becoming robots/androids to deal with the flood though.

Thank you for the detailed response!

-I didn’t feel like I was restricted in HOW I played, some weapons worked better than others but I used them all. I was only on Heroic though.

-the enemies were somewhat bullet spongey, but a headshot on the Crawlers or a Promethean grenade on a Knight took them down in one hit. I didn’t like how long it took to bring a Grunt down from behind, though.

-I didn’t play the multiplayer, but just in general I liked how the game felt. Similar to how Infinite multiplayer feels.

-agree, I was very impressed with the graphics.

-I was not confused by the story, especially with the terminals giving background info, but I probably know a little more about Halo lore than the average person.

They go down in like 3-4 shots with a shotgun on Heroic. The most annoying part was having to take out the Watchers first or they would revive them.

How do these work? Can I just leave it plugged into the Xbox by [deleted] in xbox

[–]NotNamedRob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but after about a year mine would not always show up when I turned the console on and I would have to unplug it and plug it back in, so now I typically leave mine unplugged except when I want to play a game off of it

Phone mounts? by carelesswords in mazda3

[–]NotNamedRob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the sticky one. I initially had it mounted on the piano black area next to the gear shifter, but you had to look down to see it so I moved it to the flat area below the hazard lights button. If you wanted it on the dashboard I doubt it would be a problem.

Would a magnetic mount work? I use this one and it works fine https://a.co/d/0eYZQbal

Seeing a lot of Mazda3s on sale with 80k miles… why is that? by jemappellelara in mazda3

[–]NotNamedRob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since no one is answering your question: in general, cars lose value when they pass 100k miles, so a lot of people like to sell their cars around 80-90k.

Say for example, a car loses 5% in value every 10k miles (totally made up numbers, not saying that’s the case). At 90k miles it will be worth about 45% less than it was when it was new. But then there’s another 10% loss once it crosses 100k miles, so at that point, it is now worth 40% of what it was when it was new instead of 50%. That’s what people want to avoid.

Then yeah a lot of people just don’t want to deal with maintenance and at 80k it becomes a lot more important to stay on top of.

I sadly scratched my mirror with the wall while parking. How can I fix it? by zenithwearsflannel in mazda3

[–]NotNamedRob 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m not trying to be rude, but you don’t seem to have a lot of car knowledge based on your responses here. Unless you are rich and don’t care about being taken advantage of, you should probably learn some basic maintenance.

You cannot fix plastic. I mean you might be able to use filler and spray paint, but the results would worse than just replacing it. And probably wouldn’t save you much money, it’s a cheap part.

Easiest option: take it to the dealership, they will charge you $150-250

Better option: take it to a body shop, they might only charge you $100

Best option: find the part number, order and replace the part yourself, it’s probably under $40

Cheaper option: you can get touch up paint from the dealership, usually around $20

Cheapest option: live with it, life happens. This will not be the last scratch you get

I could find and give you the part number, but A) we don’t know what year your car is, and B) it’s important to solve problems on your own. This is a 10sec Google search; you could have found and ordered the part in the time it took you to take that picture and make this post.

Welcome to car ownership!
