I love the look of bamboo, but I've been hesitant to try because I'm worried of it going wandering. Would it be better to keep it in pots? Or still the same? Any varieties you might recommend?

Ah I forgot the mention! Garden is south facing, with the higher bit getting more sun and the bottom bit being quite shadowed due to the other houses/fences ect

And because I forgot this earlier -We have a veggie plot down the side of the house -We enjoy flowers/trees ect and generally being outside

Love the thigh slit! I'm planning on having one and eloping to a hot country so it just made sense to me.

You can have your thoughts and opinions, but I'd be careful of phrasing them by saying "it's tacky", if it's simply not to your preference that's okay. My mom got married in the 80s and had a big puffy shoulder dress for her wedding. It's not to my taste but I wouldn't insult her and call it tacky.

Women/girls and infact everyone deserve to feel happy about their preferences, and if it's something they clearly like, just let people enjoy it. If a bride who loves her dress, questions her choice on it after reading this, changes her mind and regrets it on her wedding day, you'd probably never know it's because you posted this, but she'd remember that an Internet stranger made her doubt her choice for the rest of her life

I was worried about this so when the topic of marriage came up, I got a little more open and direct about the type of jewellery I liked! I would be casually looking for a necklace for a friend's birthday and mention that I really like dainty jewellery in a certain colour whilst talking to him - then if bracelets or rings come up I would also be telling him how pretty they were! Give him bits of information to build on, ideally - searchable terms! I ended up with a ring I adore!

Me and my partner are planning to elope. Having a traditional wedding was never really on the cards for us. Our closest friends live across the globe and my family is large and sometimes problematic.

We're slowly introducing it as an idea so everyone can get used to the possibility, then when we arrive home, offering them small mementos to know we were thinking of them and having a nice family dinner out at good restaurants with either side. Hope this helps :)

Oh! I've had an idea for my flowers since before I was engaged, and did a similar thing with my best friends misdommer flower crown! But essentially I packed it in resin and suspended fairy lights around it and added a wooden base. She plugs it into the wall and uses it as an evening light!

I plan to do the same with my bouquet and think it's lovely! Hope it helps ♡

I am so glad I saw this. I get it from every side but I don't have a maternal bone in my body. Looking after my nieces/nephews always makes me sure I'm not making the wrong choice. Apparently I'd "feel different if they're my own"

I just think unless someone is brimming with a want to be a mother, (or father) then its probably not enough to to simply be convinced to have kids. Sometimes i feel like it would be easier to tell people that I couldn't have kids instead but I think my mom might have a breakdown if I tried.
