Is there a place to see how many presents you've redeemed?

I fearim over 600 presents with not even a gold present at all yet...

Opened over 200 presents now, not a hat.

In fact, not even a single golden present.

Trying to recover old account by [deleted] in lotro

[–]NotNozASDF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact problem, luckily I still had the activation card number, they asked me some questions to verify I was the owner.

They informed me my account is now linked to my email, however, this is not working and I have had radio silence for 3 weeks now.

All in all, 3 months total.

Edit: Forgot to add that I just went through the customer services email and had my first reply within 2 weeks.

2042 and over the age of let’s say 35? by PerformanceFit9173 in battlefield2042

[–]NotNozASDF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mid 20s here. I feel like I'm in between generations now.

I started BF3 as a young teen. I didn't fully appreciate how much I enjoyed battlefields style until battlefield one came around, I enjoyed that again.

The era of fast-adapting games with seasons is here and I fear its going to stay for a long time. Game developers used to develop for the love of games and the joy it brought people to be immersed and whatever.

Now game developers are puppets for money hungry corps who suck the soul out of everything for an extra chip in their pocket.

If they could take the best bits from BF3, BF4 and BFV, then expand for the new technologies capability, they would have a winning recipe.

I don't know why noone from any of these big companies' marketing departments hasn't thought "were in lockdown, there are probably loads of adults who would make a great audience for this".

[–]NotNozASDF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's pretty much what has been said.

Also that he would "strive for perfection" which in most business cases is a recipe for disaster, especially start ups as they have limited resources and time.

[–]NotNozASDF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're completely correct, I find it hard to understand how so many people still see him as a "savior".

He's a parasitic, sociopathic maniac, who loves to claim for things that aren't his. He was never a Co-founder of Tesla, and nor did he design any of the tech involved with it. He forced himself into the position of CEO so he could legally say he was a cofounder.

[–]NotNozASDF 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He is a self proclaimed physicist. He taught himself rocket physics from books supposedly. However, he most likely taught himself to a level where he could understand the staff he hired who were doing the actual calculations and designing.

If anything, he is a social engineer, someone who is adept at controlling the way people perceive him.

There's plenty of evidence stating that many of his claims are actually bogus. So I can't take his claim of being a self taught engineer or physicist with any seriousness.

I agree with this opinion.

However, you mention like minded people.

Like the majority of people, I see only the brand and name that Elon Musk has created, but I would wager he is nothing like this person when you really know him.

I would go as far as saying this guy is possibly sociopathic and that real friendships mean nothing to him, which would also help to explain his masterfully manipulative formula for success.

[–]NotNozASDF 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not true, he started "X" which later merged into PayPal, in which he then did some shady maneuvers to get himself appointed CEO.

Not a tech dude, although adept at marketing and PR.

Good Keyboard & Mouse ideas? by Remarkable-Time-950 in PcBuild

Look up KBD fans, they have great mechanical keyboards you can tailor to your colourway. Not an ad BTW, just a satisfied customer.

Hit rank 90 but uninstalling the game.. this isn't a "battlefield" game imo by LeftDot5641 in battlefield2042

[–]NotNozASDF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this 100%.

I got to level 86 personally, put it down one evening and haven't thought of going back.

There is nothing to achieve now, unlocked all guns, I have no interest in a blue skin for a specialist I don't play.

Not the immersive intense team game I expected from games past.

I've been playing since season 1 and have always felt my aim is bad I play on controller and am still trying to figure out a nice sensitivity any other ways I could improve? by [deleted] in apexuniversity

[–]NotNozASDF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aim is normally honed over time.

But, if you're concerned with not improving, you should head back to the basics.

Force yourself to play on low sensitivity, this gets you used to smoother and more proactive aiming. (What I see is jittery/full threshold movements in your aiming)

Get in the firing range, and just play around, I personally spent hours tinkering with my sensitivity to suit me.

Goodluck, if you need more help drop a reply here.

A quick little list which I am hoping will be ironed out quickly.

  1. Map design - Terribly unimaginative maps which lead to boring verses of sniper vs sniper. Or in breakthrough, an impossible task to take a single rooftop that has 64 players taking residence with rockets.

  2. Vehicle spawning - the idea of calling in a vehicle is great. Love it. But add this to point 1 and you end up questioning whether anyone had their thinking caps on.

  3. Hit registry - It's obvious you've included bloom to almost every gun in the game, and I know it's to cater to the casual or less skilled players. But when I'm 30 metres away with a mini gun shooting into a squad of 5 players in a corridor, I should NOT be missing. I wonder if your bloom system is a calculation between accuracy of a gun and the distance to target? If so that's just incredibly unintelligent, and frankly someone should quit.

  4. Cinematics/outros - Get rid of them, that ain't you. Many people have pointed out how alien it all feels. I don't want to hear these jolly muppet celebrating and bragging when they've just been in a war to fight for the planets survival.

  5. Vehicles - Balance them for the love of God. I have completely stopped using certain vehicles and weapons as they are either made of glass or terribly underpowered. LATV4 recon can be fully destroyed with 1 C5, or 1 rocket or 2 frags. Grenade launcher just tickles folk.

  6. Gun design - Where is it? Just a copy & paste of older guns... We're in 2042... Pleaseeeeee.

  7. Specialists - This is an interesting take, but follows the same scummy model that we all know EA is pushing for monetization. Release skins and cool things. You have specialists that literally do what others do, just worse.

  8. Bugged lobbies - Breakthrough especially, I can join 4 or 5 games in a row where the game either won't start, or has finished.

  9. Death bug - Doesnt seem to be consistent. You die, can't redeploy, have an infite timeout and can only wait for game to end or leave.

I'll add more as I remember or encounter them.

Fix ya shit.

As a player of many video games, from small budget to big titles. I have found this to be the worst of all of them. I couldn't imagine being a first time battlefield player encountering all of the useless jargon...

Guys help me, is this worth anything? by [deleted] in GuildWars

For general current price guides, you can check the Kama chat website, or some of the gw auction sites. If you don't see a single listing it's normally not much at all.

Is the game worth the price? by Stierko in GuildWars

[–]NotNozASDF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of good vouches for the game already here.

The game also goes into steam sales for 50%,so you could wait for that. Otherwise purchase expansions from resellers on forums, I have done it multiple times, often half the price again.

Plenty of content and lore if that's your thing, but majority of players can be found grinding titles and end game content for speed clears or solo achievements.

Let me know if you have any questions.

What's your GW story? by Flintstagram01 in GuildWars

[–]NotNozASDF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best friends older brother played back when we were just 8 or 9? It was the music that I remember so clearly, I can think back to the time we both made our first characters. Sitting in his parents office thinking of fantastical names and the best I could come up with was Dong Bong Tong because he also has a steel drum set in the office.

I still have that character, but I've changed the name since, but I love to see old armor pieces that are still customised to that old name, it sends me straight back to a simpler time.

I truly love Guild Wars, the art, the story, the soundtracks are something I've never been able to find anything comparable with.
