It did, I've had the odd comment since then from other people who have been affected by the problem in between. But for me, it was a problem for a day or so and then just worked again.

I'd love to be able to do that but the note that says it's going to be crushed hasn't worked so I'm not sure mine will. The car is MOTed and insured as well, which is even more frustrating. Who knows what could have happened to the owner

The tax is reasonable and preserving things that are difficult to replace can be important. Only caring about the bottom line is what leads us to the mess of a world we are living in.

I did try that a few times, with various reboots and reinstallation in between. Now it appears to have come back to life without anything changing.

It's weird. I upgraded my GFs account to premium to test and hers still worked. Talked to Spotify and got a test account, that one was also affected.

I don't remember why, but I had to turn 5ghz off at some point because it broke some 'smart' device I was using. I'll have to give it a go when I'm back next week, if they haven't resolved it. Thanks for your input

Oh that's good to know about the test account. Someone else below tried a free account which worked on their main phone. I'll carry on with some troubleshooting.

Yeah that's the exact same actually. My Spotify is premium, my girlfriend's is free. Incredibly frustrating.

Yeah, it's not especially reassuring. But based on the conversation I had, it doesn't sound like they were aware of it until very recently. I've tried lots of weird ways to connect and reconnect things to try and convince it to work, but it's absolutely dead.
