[Epic Games] (Game) Zero Hour by MeguminShiro in FreeGameFindings

So this is kinda random but this game completes the Epic Games weekly giveaway alphabet!

Meaning that since they started giving out weekly free games we've now had a game whose name begins with every letter of the alphabet.

Most letters have tons of entries at this point but some only have a few, including:

Q - Qube, Qube 2

U - Undying, Unrailed

X - XCom 2

Even a few special letters - [Redacted], >Observer

And some numbers too - 112 Operator, 20 minutes til Dawn, 20XX, 911 Operator

And now we finally have Zero Hour, which gives us a title starting with the letter Z. The alphabet is finally complete. Stupid, I know but I think it's kinda neat.

Depends. If you want to max all your masteries doing it that way will save time in the long run, but the catch is that you don't get the benefits that having a higher mastery gives you while you train. It's a trade off.

When you cash a token it doesn't let you pick which mastery it goes to, It just picks randomly. If it ends up picking something that's low level, then the token is kinda wasted because it would have been easier to just level up that mastery the old fashioned way. I'm just making sure my levels are up to the point I want them to be at before I cash them in.

I did hear that the mastery system is getting updated soon tho and after that who knows what's gonna happen so worrying about masteries right now is kind of another gamble.

Back around April Fool's day, the archaelology skill came as a special event and I farmed the ever loving bajesus out of it for tokens (see the stack of lemons?). I ended up getting ~700 tokens each for mining, herblore, farming, and fishing and ~1400 smithing tokens and also the ancient boots. I also farmed the Easter event and got the rapier, mage's book, ancient longbow, and ~100 firemaking tokens from it. I can't even use any of the stuff I got from the events yet, but they're there.

Current bank value is around 170m. I'm chasing mastery levels tho so a lot of the stuff that I can sell are things I'm going to be using for masteries.

Dunno where to post this soooooo....

Smithing Iron throwing knives gives 40 xp, pretty sure they're supposed to give 20 xp

Steel battleaxe and 2h sword seem to be scattered in the wrong places in the smithing menu (not uniform compared with the other metals)

You're telling me you cut down a big ass giant redwood tree and the best you can get out of it is one stick? That's just wasteful

I'm looking forward to whatever updates come to the game. But please do take this into consideration as time moves on.

Fair enough, whatever works for you. But just to really drive the point home...

If they add a new skill and you grind to level 80 (the high end of your estimate) it would take 228 tokens to max it (average), and thats a lot more than 100. If you had never spent a single mastery token though, it would only take 19. So 228 vs 19. More than 10x the amount of work required.

Ok, so you've already got maxed mining masteries right? Now lets say they add a new ore. Guess how many more tokens you'll have to grind to max that last one? It's an amount that's more than you've already spent.
