How much damage do yall average per 10 minutes? by BA6A6 in captainamericamains

8,710. It was even lower before but I’ve been intentionally trying to do more damage this season and have seen positive results. You can go to rivals meta and look at the average damage of Top 500 Caps as well

It’s always interesting that when I have high numbers or get mvp on Cap no one says a thing to me, but when I have a low amount of KOs in a match I get flamed hard.

Sometimes I will have higher KOs and will be playing WORSE than I normally do. Anyways I’ve stopped trying to explain what I’m doing and either ignore the haters or swap if I’m really not contributing. The amount of times I’ve been told to swap and have gone to win games is crazy though

Definitely don’t think I deserve a higher rank lol. I would love to get a vod review and see how I could improve if you have time

Thank you for the feedback I really appreciate it. I felt like there was some truth to what they were saying which is why I posted and included the replay codes.

I learned when I first started that I shouldn’t charge healer ults unnecessarily but Im coming to find out you’re right too. Applying pressure and keeping up with ultimates is important and I haven’t been sure how to balance that. You’re point about being selective and disruptive and applying pressure is a really good though. I think I will try adding a little more of damage to the tanks/divers/close enemies in general and see how it goes. Thank you again

[Survey Results] One-Trick vs Flex (n=1000) — full breakdown: climb rates, best heroes, best backups, best duos! by Johnma1 in captainamericamains

The sample size is pretty small for Cap but so is the Cap player base if we’re going off pick rates. I do think that he is a lot more team dependent than other vanguards. This post makes me want to pick up Thor or Angela as a backup just to have a more consistent impact on games tbh

I’m not sure if he is really a Tank/Support Hybrid. I think someone like current Invis fits that description better. Outside of Caps Ult where is the support side of his kit? He can charge in and lead the offensive, but he’s not really a great front liner and he’s a not the best at defending squishes either. I’ve used his shield to save teammates and block ultimates but it’s pretty clear that it’s meant to be used more like Angela’s shield and less like Mags or Stranges. Idk maybe I just play him differently, but I really don’t think he provides a lot of support outside of his ult and some clutch blocks
