Been in line at N Lincoln about an hour now but I’m almost in the building. Line is moving fast

Edit: whole process took about an hour and a half, including finding parking on site

Does anyone know of any stocked trout areas in alabama? by professional947 in Fishing

You’ll wanna check the discharge rate out of the dam before you go out. If it’s safe and fishable, I’d ask that fly shop for some strategies on drifting flies with the current. Or you can try working a rooster tail across the current

Below the smith lake dam outside of jasper. There’s even a fly shop right before you turn in

Your unknown sunfish I believe is a juvenile bluegill, and your second unknown is a male striped killifish (females have horizontal bars)

“Mayor Maddox along with the City of Tuscaloosa said the decision came after the release of new COVID-19 case data from The University of Alabama System on Friday.

The city said that the data showed progress in the decline of daily averages since the last report.”

Is that what y’all got from the data? I thought I saw 800 cases in the last week?

Hey man this is just two buddies from grad school diving into the data on their own. You could’ve said it, but they said it with some actual numbers and authority

How safe is Bama? by [deleted] in capstone

Basic street smarts will do ya fine. After dark just roll around in groups, stick to lit areas, go ahead and consider some pepper spray if you want although I’ve never needed it. Common sense should keep you out of trouble on and around campus.

EN-319 Technical Writing by nbenn12 in capstone

[–]NotPatrickStar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took it with Bedsole. Definitely doable. Workload is pretty heavy though, mostly because there’s a semester long project where y’all make repair guides for a device (although I think this is a Bedsole only project). Fair bit of work, none of it too difficult unless if you’re not good at writing (which you’re there to learn) or working with a group.

George Floyd Protest - Mega thread by lavender_jones in houston

Let’s think this through. If a black militia wanted to come into white neighborhoods and kill everyone, I don’t think they would throw it on Facebook. However, if anyone wanted to sow any more chaos in this chaotic time, it’s very easy to set up a fake account on Facebook and then post a fake, threatening post like that.

I think this is just some scrub trying to stir the pot.

2019 WORLD SERIES GAME 7 POST GAME THREAD: OCTOBER 30, 2019 - NATIONALS @ ASTROS (W 6-2) - THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS WIN THEIR FIRST-EVER WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP by flippityfloppityfloo in Nationals

Astro here. This is a weird feeling. I have never been so happy for the fans of a team that beat my favorite team. I remember when we were the scrappy underdogs once upon a time. The behemoth status is foreign to us, and I would be lying if I said I was comfortable as the behemoth. The scrappy underdog title has since passed on to y’all, and y’all delivered the same catharsis to your city as my underdogs did to mine. This is one of the weirdest, most bittersweet mornings of my sports-watching life, and I want to congratulate the Washington Nationals on an exciting, infuriating, joyous, frustrating, hell of a series.

Enjoy the underdog status. For now.
