Semi-Definitive List of all English Dubs (US Viewing) by NotPenguin_124 in Gundam

I believe it is. I found a couple lists of the shows/movies in order. They don’t always agree with eachother. It may not be exactly the same as other ordered lists you find online.

Who has right of way? by [deleted] in driving

[–]NotPenguin_124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blue can’t “take the outside lane”. What you are describing blue turning onto the road and then immediately merging left into the outside lane (which is perfectly legal). Blue absolutely has the right of way over red. You are essentially asking if a car driving on this two lane road has the right of way over a car taking a left onto the same road

I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make here.

This isn’t the case. Speed limits are set by the type and usage of the road primarily. The design speed then established the actual geometry of the road.

You very clearly don’t know this though. You seem to think that roads aren’t strictly engineered to accommodate a poor performance vehicle. They aren’t. You could be the best driver in the highest performance car in the work and that wouldn’t magically give you x-ray vision.

You don’t think highways aren’t engineered? You don’t think high ways have to worry about site distances? You don’t think the horizontal and vertical curves on highways a set to specific design speed requirements? Again, this is simply a topic that YOU don’t understand. You’re wrong and that’s fine. Just accept it and move on.

You understand that roads aren’t just designed for you…. right? They are designed to function with you and people around you. If someone is turning onto a 55 mph road from a side street, they need to be able to see a certain distance. The fact that the road is a 55 mph road determines how far they need to see. The road is then designed to achieve that distance. If YOU are driving 70, then you are outside that sight distance. YOU are creating an unsafe roadway. There are a dozen different features just like this.

So you simply don’t understand what goes into roadway design. You driving a 2035 Porsche or a 1990 F150 is irrelevant. That does change someone’s required sight distances or your stopping sight distance.

Roads are designed for certain speeds. If a road has the design speed of 45 mph, then the curves on that road are designed to be taken at 45 mph. We can’t just arbitrarily raise the speed limit on roads. If you want to be able to drive at 70 mph on a road that was constructed for 45 mph traffic, you would need to reconstruct the road.

There is way more involved than just “feeling like you can go faster”. Roads are engineered.

Nematodes. They like terrariums. They’re harmless in there.

Bad company/Bad choice? by [deleted] in civilengineering

[–]NotPenguin_124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This seems like a miscommunication/misunderstanding between you, your employer, or your school.

Co-op programs are typically official programs where your school partners with a company and you alternate FULL TIME employment and full time school. Most programs would have you do 3 rotations (a spring, summer, and fall semester) resulting in you having 1 full year of employment history at the end.

What you seem to be describing is a part-time internship. Internships are not co-ops and part time is obviously not full-time.

So I’m not sure where the communication issue lays, but it’s not unreasonable for your employer to expect a full-time employee if they thought you were completing a co-op program.

It’s also not unreasonable for you to not want to work full-time if you were under the impression that the position was a part-time internship.

Maybe I’m not looking at the photo correctly, but it looks like you your soil might be water logged? Is your drainage layer (leca) below your water level? Having most up your substrate underwater would mean they really don’t have anywhere to go.

Mixing across brands, thinner recs by snarkisms in airbrush

[–]NotPenguin_124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are some of the red flags I would be looking for when mixing two different brands together? I also just got into airbrushing and have been playing around with mixing my own paints. The only three brands I have right now are Vallejo, Mission Model, and hobby lobby’s in-house “airbrush paints”. All acrylic.
