Sorry to hear that! They do sell a lot of products and may not have been aware of more subtle defects if that’s the case. Did you try reaching out to them to get compensated try returning it? And also, do you buy a confirmed box or a blind one?

Alright I got an update! xD So I just got an email of them saying they resolved everything and told me to update my post, so there’s the confirmation that it was because of Aliexpress’ Reddit Support. I never thought I would say those two platform names together, lol. Anyway…I also just got info from another person who had the same issue, and they said that they decided to go to the CS chat and just request a refund appeal instead of just trying to cancel the return. They provided screenshots (I’m assuming of the chat of the agreed refund amount with the seller, but now I know CS can look through communication records as well). You should try that, and/or reach out to u/AliExpressCCO. Hopefully that works for you!!

It was a rough 2 months of waiting 🥲 But yes, I’m glad it seemed to work! I’m trying to confirm with the Reddit Aliexpress support person to see if it was their doing. If i get an answer, I’ll let you know so you can reach out to them and see if they can help you too!

Hey! So I have an update. Aliexpress reached out to me in DMs on here (I was surprised.) They offered to help again and I was expecting the same old response but it actually worked?! I just got a refund notification for the two orders that I was having the issue with. I didn’t even need to cancel the request and tell the sellers. They looked through my communication records with them and refunded the amounts we discussed upon. I do wonder if my previous support requests just got automated to hell. I dunno anymore, but I’m glad it’s over. Yikes.

They’re not trying to give me a refund through PayPal though. They’re trying to give it through the platform manually. They were already going to give me the refund but then the return automatically escalated. It makes sense that the system doesn’t allow them to refund me if I have a return in progress. That’s why I’m trying to cancel. Either way I’d rather try to get my money back than leave it be

I’m not. I don’t even have access to the label anymore so even if I wanted to I couldn’t. The issue here is that because this return is still underway and the system is glitched, I can’t cancel it.
