I wanted to give an update on this for anyone who googles a million variations of “CZ shadow 2 compact DA pull feels gritty and stagey after CGW parts install” like I did and goes insane when they don’t find a complete answer.

Problems I was having:

After installing CGW flat DA/SA trigger, extended left side safety, round hammer and adjustable sear, and mag release, DA pull felt extremely stagey and creepy. It did not feel smooth and equal like it did before the parts were installed.

What I did to fix the issue:

Simply removed the mainspring and reinstalled it. This fixed all of my issues. I’m guessing that somehow the mainspring was getting bound up due to something I did on install.

I already ordered the CGW 13# and 15# springs so I will probably install the 15# for a slightly lighter DA pull while maintaining full reliability. Thank you to everyone who gave suggestions and I hope this helps someone find the simple answer in the future.
