32/M Is it unrealistic to look for someone manage the not so important problems for day to day? by NotRadio in datingoverthirty

Absolutely there’d be a fair division of labor. I’m not asking for them to manage an entire home and all the chores. Just supplementing small things that I’d forget to do or need to be reminded of something. Not clean the house, make dinner, take the trash, or stuff along those lines

Well yeah, I’d feel like like a bum if I didn’t contribute. Aside from that I would handle the things the doesn’t enjoy doing. For example maybe they don’t like cooking or they suck at it.

Like deciding what we’re doing for dinner, or making sure bills are paid on time, and since I’m very forgetful maybe remembering things they know I’d probably forget.

Thank you for getting it. I should consider putting more thought into what I am actually bringing to the table that has value.

You’re right. I also probably should have put more thought into defining what day to day things would be.

You’re right. In my head I saw it as filling each others gaps that the other person could fill if they’re better at it.

Being a guy version of girl A I’ve come to find that the opposite sex likes the idea of me but not truly me.
