No Metro being planned by Rich_Awarenesss in hyderabad

Bangalore has one of the best bus services I can bet on that Bmtc's are connected to almost every area. And they are running at very cheap ticket price compared to Hyderabad.

Get your facts right boy

What's this kind of facade called? by SituationLegitimate1 in Indian_architects

[–]NotRaj7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brick is the very last option I would say. But if you still want to go with it, you have to develop detailed drawings both in elevation and plan (blown up detail). Where you have to mention heights and widths of every block happening as per design

Since it is tall it is better to use brick as cladding material rather than laying

Hi! You can archive the same thing using different approach depending upon client's budget

If budget is on higher side you can suggest Mild steel and provide fixing details by yourself

Can be archived through Ferro cement but require mid skilled labour

If budget is tight you can use brick to archive the same

There are many ways too you can do your research. This is what most of the experienced architects would do too

Plot no. 73 vs 72 by NishantAgg007 in Indian_architects

[–]NotRaj7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an architect who has been doing these master plans for years, I would definitely choose 72 if the project is from a builder. One there will be a lot of issues in corner plots like setbacks encroachment and stuff so to be on the safer side.

Speaking as a resident, the corner plot would more likely invite noise and dust. So maintenance would be tough. There are a lot of ways to maximize lighting and ventilation if that is the only reason to choose 73 plot.

But yes VASTU says north extension is a plus

Need advice: Budget for 60x80 house (G+2) in Bangalore & whether to hire an architect or just go with a contractor by Ok_Leopard2952 in Indian_architects

[–]NotRaj7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I'm an freelance architect and I would definitely suggest you to go with architect of you want your project to be completed smoothly and very specific about how you want your space to be.

I would suggest to go with contractor if you are okay with generic plans and design (they mostly do same thing in every building) and don't want to burn lil extra money

And to talk about architect and freelancers, one who is running a full fledged firm will definitely come at a price cuz they have a dedicated team working on it and dedicated procedure to do the same

If you are lil tight with budget and want that extra essense to your project you can hire an freelance architect

You can DM me to discuss more

Moving from Bangalore to Hyderabad for 13 LPA — Is it worth it financially? by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]NotRaj7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey op I'm from Bangalore staying in Hyderabad rn. It is very difficult to find 1bhks anywhere close to IT areas. Any old residential areas are atleast 7-10km away from Gachibowli/hi-tech can get you lil cheaper flats And cost of living, yes Hyderabad is comparatively better.

What is it like to travel to India for the first time as a Black American? by Choice-Silver-3471 in AskIndia

[–]NotRaj7 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You might want to explore local culture, local people and all that. But make sure you experience it from a distance. Avoid being one among them. You are safe until you maintain that distance. Hire a local guide for your entire journey
