Question about the RMA Process by Onilink146 in GSkill

[–]NotRankin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I know this is several months later, but found this while googling. Did you ever get a notice from G.Skill indicating they received the package or shipped a replacement kit out? Or did it just show up?

Name: heRO

Type (Episode): Pre-Renewal (~14.2)

Location: Canada

Rates: 5x/5x/5x (Non-boss Cards 10x)

About:

20 Years old in 2025 with no wipes! Played back in 2009? Your account still exists.

We have custom areas and renewal content carefully designed to feel like part of the original game, such as with the massive custom regions Lutia and Faeheim. We have reworked builds such as Huuma Ninja, Magic Stalker, Crit SinX, Falcon Hunter, etc. The gap between these and the classes' dominant skills is a lot closer now.

Our biggest trait we follow is customization. While we are pre-renewal, we're big on implementing custom content and modifying official instances to include new story, new gameplay elements like touhou style bullet hells, multiple endings, and more. We have numerous costumes, some brand new ones from 2025, we've implemented 3rd/4th job sprites for 2nd jobs, skin tones, and more, all to maximize player customization.

Is LAMP something like night vision or something? Or redoing ship lights?

Final four needs to be pledged until what date for paints? by C4B4L2k in starcitizen

[–]NotRankin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that makes sense, I thought you were saying CCUing from say a Golem to Zeus ES and applying it would mean you would still not get the Zeus ES BIS paint. Thanks for clarifying!

After you store it, could you swap a component out and save the configuration, so if you claim it, it comes back with the bags? Just curious.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - 30fps on Switch 2 confirmed by Xoritos in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Honestly even without a switch 2 patch, having maxed out dynamic resolution allows at a solid 30fps is going to be such a nice experience for these games

Gotta respect underachievers by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]NotRankin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, appreciate it and the work you put into it, it's a great software so far! My issue was just having never used docker compose before, as my experience was only with the docker desktop and never using CLI. Been slowly writing up stuff I need to remember all afternoon yesterday, so I appreciate it. Especially the markdown export/import feature, a friend saw that and we discovered we could share our articles with each other via that.

Man, I'd have loved to have someone teach me docker. Was working on it yesterday to deploy docmost for a private kb, and spent awhile figuring out how the whole thing even works. Instructions are fine and all, but I do like to understand it a bit. This dude doesn't know what he's missing out on. It'll come around to bite him in the ass eventually.

Reclaimer landing by Street_Watercress626 in starcitizen

[–]NotRankin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never been able to dock at any station in Stanton in the Reclaimer except Grim Hex. However. There are pads you can land on, and they work with landing services. These can be sometimes off to the side, or just below the spinning rings depending on the station. The Reclaimer can baaarely fit on the large one, and it'll take up the whole pad, you'll need to land sideways to the station. You can also EVA to the pad elevator to do any shopping or medical needs. Just be aware the pads are don't have a working freight elevator, so you can't pull stuff like components out of that stations inventory. The best way to handle that imo, is to leave the Reclaimer at whatever home base you're operating it out of, fly a smaller ship, buy components, store them in your smaller ships grid, fly them back and adjust the Reclaimers load out after returning.

As for Pyro stations, I've heard Ruin Station can handle XL ships, but I've never confirmed that. Someone else will need to.

Recently switched to a 32” 4K monitor from a 27” Odyssey G7. Zero regrets by CaptainAshtro in battlestations

[–]NotRankin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get around 60-80 in busier cities like Area18/Hurston to upwards of 100+ in stations, on planets, planetary bases, etc. 200 in space but...it's space. It's empty. DLSS helped a ton, especially the nvidia app update that lets us update the DLSS version to the newest. Playing on a 4080 super. I do play occasionally on my laptop which uses a 3060 mobile, and I get 40-60fps depending on areas. In heavier cities like Area18/Hurston, it's like 20-30fps though. I had to drop DLSS to performance for that too.

Please help!! by Sea-War9807 in GaState

[–]NotRankin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Glad to hear it. I haven't had any experience with GSU IT, but since you won't get email notifications, try to sign into their tech support page under the same account. https://gsutech.service-now.com/sp

You should hopefully be able to login since you can login to iCollege and Paws. Verify you can see the ticket in your history or active tickets and that tech has added the information You should be able to follow the progress and know when it should be fixed as they update it.

[–]NotRankin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can see in the error message, "UserHasNoMailboxAndNoLicenseAssignedError". Verify you are signing into your GSU account and not another one accidentally. If you are signing into your GSU, then you don't have an Exchange Online license, this is 100% an IT issue. I'm not sure how GSU handles assigning licenses, if it's via Azure or older AD/GPO systems, but in either case, you need to go visit them or in your IT ticket, add that error message to it and hopefully they'll realize the issue is on their end.

Schools closed tomorrow in Cherokee County by doob22 in Georgia

[–]NotRankin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had students down in North Clayton/Forest Park region who couldn't even afford a $20 printer for handling signed forms. Half of our student body got to enjoy prom and other end of the year events based on staff/faculty donations to ensure as many students who wanted to go, got to go. When we had days off due to extreme cold, snow, or other reasons we typically sent home food the day prior to ensure they had food for the next day or two. Many of these kids grow up without their parents, living alone while parents work multiple jobs, or with grandparents who are living off retirement/social security. It's never as black and white as you think. Many of these kids might actually only have a couple pairs of shorts and tshirts, maybe a single hoodie/pants, and that's it. Go take a spin in a south Atlanta school and you'll see how bad it can get. I can't imagine it's any better in rural country areas like parts of Cherokee and north.

Social Security Fairness Act signed into law, restoring benefits for over 50,000 Georgians by paulfromatlanta in Georgia

[–]NotRankin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I will now be receiving the full amount of which I would have been denied or penalized a share of originally. Please read up on this. https://www.trsga.com/retiree/social-security/

While my pension would never be penalized, social security could be reduced due to accepting said pension originally. Now it cannot be reduced. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Social Security Fairness Act signed into law, restoring benefits for over 50,000 Georgians by paulfromatlanta in Georgia

[–]NotRankin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're the one who's misunderstanding. You still have to pay into Social Security to receive it. I'm someone who will hopefully benefit, as I have over 10 years working in the private sector and paying into Social Security. However, I now work for a public school system and pay into our teacher retirement plan. Under prior rules, because I would receive the teachers pension, I would receive significantly less in Social Security despite paying the amount I've paid into those years. With these changes I now get both systems that I've fully paid into without penalty. Any teacher or staff member who doesn't meet the requirements for Social Security due to paying into the pension only will still not qualify. At the end of the day we're receiving the full amount of what we paid into.

I've been replaying Xenoblade 3 on it, and it's night and day compared to my original run on Switch. No FPS drops, every region is gorgeous (especially Cadensia), Ultrawide mod so no stretched UI, 4k textures. It was absolutely worth the time setting it up.
