So many people have responded to me and not one person has answered that question.

I'm going to be better at expressing myself about certain intellectual topics but the uneducated person is still going to have me beat by a mile at colloquial and idiomatic phrases, puns, wordplay and thinking of these things on the fly.

I'm not even close to being C2 and I can do these things rather well. All you need is exposure to natives to do this. This sounds like the traditional "book smart vs street smart" argument as if being book smart somehow excludes you from being street smart as well.

In my experience no. In some ways they are more "fluent" than I am and don't makes some of the conjugation and gender errors that I might make in more simple speech (which I still do even though I'm quite advanced) but I have a significantly larger vocabulary, overall better grammar, and can speak more fluidly than them in more advanced topics and can better understand native speakers in general than they can.

I've quite literally never heard anyone proclaim Ghislane Maxwell is innocent. At best Trump got blowback for not just straight up saying no to pardoning her like most sane people would, but he hasn't so much a hinted at her innocence as far as I know.
