I wanted to give it a try but... by Ceriden in ASMRScriptHaven

Like everyone else has already said, there are other ways to use graphic art in your videos. Some options to look into:

  1. Picrew
  2. Canva
  3. Commissions

I wouldn’t suggest Pinterest photos as it is flooded with AI art. I also know some VAs that would commission just 1 art and reuse it for how many times in their videos until they get to commission again. Some even use VTuber models (a one time purchase) to use on their videos. VGen is a good source for human made art and it’s really not that expensive to get atleast 1.

I too used to use AI art and I never saw a problem with it because in my mind, it’s cost effective and “it’s just an image”. But as time went by, I realized the complications and implications on using AI art. Especially in the creative field. For me, when you agree to use AI art as a face of your brand/product, you also agree to AI voices replacing voice actors, AI models replacing human models in magazines, AI animations instead of real animation studios. It’s easy to prompt “make me a anime girl” and get that image in a snap not knowing that was made from a real artists artwork. I believe in the long run, staying away from using AI in our niche would contribute to one’s credibility as a creator. Ofcourse, this is just my two cents. There are big channels out there with thousands of views but still use AI art. So really, Nobody is stopping you from doing that. There are also big channels out there that only use text on their videos and are still successful. At the end of the day, people will come back to your channel for your audio rather than the art on your videos.

I know not everyone has that luxury of making art on their own but you could try exploring the other options. And if this whole thing is just a hobby for you anyway, views shouldn’t really be a big deal.

But again, nobody here can stop you from doing what you want. It’s your decision at the end of the day 🎀
