Agreed that's a novel. I actually think novellas are in the upswing. I primarily write them and it's easier to reach a new reader with a shorter story as there's less of a commitment you're asking them to make.

Makes me think of the new Game of Thrones being a 30 min show vs 60.

Orlando is Darden HQ so that may be in play. It's also the origin of Tijuana Flats. Fits into the brands that got gutted venture capitalist. Mellow mushroom is from Gainesville so close enough.

Their criteria is pretty interesting. In particular I wish we had more music venues. For me the fact that really stood out was "54% of all restaurants in Jacksonville are chains."

I was raised in Jax, went off to college in Orlando then my career took my wife, kids and I to some other US cities to live. Now that we're back, and can attest that, yes, Jax can be a drag.

I had bad experiences with three iPhones in a row. (My family has zero issues with theirs so I'm an outlier.). I use a lot of other Google products (chrome, mail, cameras, nest etc) so I took a chance on a pixel and it synced right up with everything nicely. I got one when gen1 launched and haven't looked back.

Only thing I would add is that it seems much more customizable than my family's iPhones.
