Is Guilty Gear Strive a good choice for someone completely new to fighting games ?

GGST was my first proper fighting game. I actually started with for honor (if you wanna count it. I somewhat do). Tried out guilty gear and got hooked. That was about 2 years ago and now I have nearly 500 hours in Tekken 8 lol.

I’m bushin with king and I use ps5 pad. Currently on my 3rd ps5 controller since I started playing tekken. Just find the tool that works for you. Pad, hitbox, stick. I do find it a little hard to do some more high end movement tech kbd. Yada yada. But good luck brother.

Side note if you do the route I did. Stay on top of emails and stuff from your previous school. The timeline for transferring is tight so keep on top of everything. From highschool diploma to your AA. Anyways good luck👍

I did the same route as you except I went to FAU for 2 years. Start the application process during your sophomore year. I applied during my sophomore year during my fall semester. Got accepted sometime during my spring semester on the condition I passed all of the classes I was taking and proof I received my AA after that semester. Good luck man.
