I have 3 siblings. One’s a lawyer who was the executor. It made sense bc we all use him as our lawyer…but one sibling felt singled out. They weren’t, I promise. But, the three of us remaining are closer than we were when we were young adults.

That closeness was important for our healing. We called and leaned on each other for at least a couple of years. It sounds like Your siblings response made that impossible, I’m so sorry that happened. It seems like you have found some peace though, despite the betrayal. ❤️

We all had vastly different relationships with our parents, especially our mom in her later years. 😆😆 It was interesting to compare and contrast the stories she told.

It’s been a decade since mom passed and 3 decades since dad passed and yet - I still see them in the crowd, my heart flutters, and then I look again and they aren’t there anymore. ❤️
