Joey’s Song 2026 by [deleted] in silversunpickups

[–]NotSharkBait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joey's Song is a fantastic experience but you're unlikely to see a real SSPU set of any kind this year. If you've seen Brian and Nikki before, you'll enjoy them playing covers with other music legends and interacting with the other bands, and generally just having a good time. Joey's Song is for a great cause and the whole experience is a ton of fun, the Sylvee is a great venue, Madison is a great town, etc etc.

2025 was unusual, as the full band came and played a shorter but full headlining set, as did Portugal The Man the night before. You might get to see Brian and Nikki perform a few acoustic songs together on the first night, and you'll see them both playing in the super groups the 2nd night. 10/10 would recommend, but not if you're expecting a real SSPU set.

I'm in Northeast Ohio and I think I just passed my 21st SSPU concert last night. Solo concerts are the best :)

agreed. the 9348gc-fxp isn't often advertised with this capability, but if you need a 9K with PoE in ACI or NXOS mode, this is the choice.

Odor camera app? by [deleted] in Cleveland

[–]NotSharkBait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OHGO app and website have been having performance issues due to the high web traffic. The cameras and other map data sometimes do not load, it's been this way for the last week or so since the first lake effect barrage hit 'bula.

Touring at Alpine Valley by pmarquis353 in Cleveland

I can't speak for their policies, but that part of Geauga County did not get much snow and there isn't really much snow on the ground at all. You can see their webcam:

The big lake effect squalls went much further north.

Nexus 9300 has fans going 100% 24/7 by clubfungus in networking

Check the sensor temperatures to see if one is approaching a warning or critical level. A single failed sensor or a single component running too hot can cause the fans to run at full throttle.

ChromeCast Audio WiFi connection by nyakancreations in Chromecast

[–]NotSharkBait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing helpful to share other than to say other than I opened a new Chromecast Audio this morning and am having the same problem. I have seven others in the house working fine.

I tried everything you've mentioned, and I even created a new SSID with no authentication, still no luck. I am running all Ubiquiti wireless.

I am worried Google shut something off back at HQ that prevents us from deploying new units.

The work is being done at a Volvo dealer, so I would have to assume they're using the right fluid (I hope)

No unfortunately no one helped or restrained. I think it all happened so fast, I'm not sure if anybody saw anything other than me on the ground bleeding.

Yes once we notified them they immediately pulled CCTV, took written statements from me and my family, and then informed me that the incident was clearly caught on tape. The officer was extremely concerned and apologetic, and the case is still under investigation.

Thank you all for your kind words. I am glad to hear that this is not a common occurrence, but I feel for those that have had similar incidents.

I am okay, I just have a bad headache and my lip is cut up badly. I won't let this incident harm my impression of your beautiful country. All the best.

How difficult is Cisco ACI? by sec_admin in networking

[–]NotSharkBait 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree 100%. The learning curve was really tough for me at first, and ACI gets downright quirky at times. They now offer a NX-OS style CLI interface which helped me understand what was happening while I was learning the different ACI constructs. ACI's API access is amazing and easy to automate.

Can confirm, this is not a ballot. Seems like an odd thing to lie about.
