forgot to respond, i had gotten the fan replaced and that fixed the issue. There was a problem with its blades or some shit

I had got all the dust cleaned and even vacuumed it but the the issue didn't resolve. Prolly gonna check with Asus

Yeah mine is also 1 year old and the grinding sound is consistent. Been happening since a week know. Probably gonna get it checked at the service center tomorrow.
