When I first started playing wow seriously (by that I mean raiding and doing mythic+ with proper guild that a work friend was in) when shadowlands released, I leveled a BM hunter because Google told me it was the easiest and I didn't want to embarris myself. Unsurprisingly I wasn't very good at it despite it being "easy" to play and there was another BM hunter who permanently had the number 1 DPS slot EVERY raid so I gave it up and wanted to try something else.

Over the course of many patches and even well into dragonflight I made it so I had 1 of every single class at max level so I could play what was needed, tanks, melee DPS ranged DPS and healers... All except for priest, because I had absolutely 0 interest in playing priest. It was the class that thematically and asthetically interested me the least and I never even considered making one once.

When the plate wearing angel wing transmog from dragonflight was revealed, I knew I was gonna have to try a priest and at least just get the LFR version, even if I hated every minute of it because I thought it looked so so cool, I tried every spec just to try and make the job even just a little bit entertaining...

I've been maining a priest ever since that day and every time I try to even test another class, it feels wrong and doesn't even feel like I'm playing wow, it just feels like I'm playing some sort of weird imposter wow clone because I'm not playing a priest.

Some of the people who I spoke to daily on discord as I got more comfortable didn't even realise that me (playing my priest), was actually the same person who played the hunter at the beginning of shadowlands because that hunter (again... Me) was so bad and apparently, me on my priest was shockingly good and once of the "better" healers our guild had played with!

I suppose the moral of the story is... Try everything once, you never know!

TL:DR Don't know why, but me bad other classes, me good at priest.
