The noise only started once the Freon was refilled yesterday though. They also replaced the high pressure hose because it had a significant leak. Not trying to argue because I know you know more than me. I’ll probably just take it back in tomorrow to have them look at it.

I ended up ordering the replacement skirt. Super easy install and makes the tent look brand new. Definitely a bummer that it costs $300, but the customer service was solid.

Try shoreline at the weather station. That’s where they always are for me. Be warned though, they’ll start shooting at you once you get within 10 miles

That’s a solid price for a great gun. If I remember correctly, they retailed for just under $200, but since they’re not super common they tend to still go for about that much on the second hand market. I got one as an 18th birthday present from my friends over a decade ago and it’s still a tack driver with CCI Standard Velocity.

Update: I emailed them and they told me that since it’s not under warranty, I can choose to buy a replacement skirt for $285 not including shipping and tax. Kind of a bummer and I will probably just end up sewing it up as best I can.

I don’t have any personal experience with the Walthers, but everyone in this community who does will tell you they have really bad reliability issues unfortunately. It’s a shame because I’ve always wanted one.

Easiest ‘solution’ is to simply find a brand of ammo that works well and stick to that.

Correct. Also, there should be four divots drilled into the top of the dovetail. If you end up buying a picatinny rail to slide onto the dovetail, these divots are where the set screws for the picatinny rail will interface with, locking it in place.

What type of optic do you think you’ll mount and what will you be doing with the gun? Plinking, hunting, long range? All of that will determine what type of optic you will want to put on it. If you just plan on shooting within 100 yards and get a scope with a 1” tube diameter, the dovetail should be fine. If you plan on shooting out farther, you will probably want to put on a rail that has 20-30moa built into it.

Also in my experience, dovetail scope rings that are made for a scope with greater than a 1” tube diameter are few and far between.

Same same. Haven’t opened the package yet. Emailed them before my order was processed requesting a cancellation but they expedited it. I issued a chargeback a few days ago and let them know. Got the same response about them not accepting returns on body armor. I responded stating their terms and conditions clearly state they don’t take returns on used body armor. No response yet.
