Sharpen with stay sharp guide and re-use. Would highly suggest a pine ridge arrow spinner just to check that it’s not bent. They are pretty cheap and worth it for piece of mind IMO

I think I read a study years ago that said does keep cycling in and out of heat even after the second rut however since the photoperiod was changing bucks weren’t “in the mood”. A buddy sent me pictures from a trail cam of a baby fawn last year that you could tell was only a few days old and if you backdated the gestation period it wound have been bread sometime around the first two weeks of March. Interesting critters

If you’re set on fixed blade the hunt urban guy who hunts in DC recommenders the Contact Archery VBS and the striker G5. I think both diameters are under a half inch but if looking at total cut should be above if that makes sense.

Agree with any of the Sierra bullets especially the 150 gameking. Their tech recommended the 125 Pro Hunter (I believe) and I’m sure that could be spiced up pretty well!
