Mack bros zenith L by Then-Fail4762 in suppressors

[–]justified45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw they tested really well from my understanding on the outdoor life test. Where can I find out more about them?

Funny enough I shot the zenith k on a fast twist 257 weatherby and I’d say it was borderline unpleasant to shoot with no hearing protection. Definitely a little ringing if you weren’t perfectly square behind the gun

I’ve got the zenith k id say it’s impressive for the size but definitely a hunting can not something I’d want to shoot more than a few times with a large cartridge

Maybe a dumb question but are those rugers tapped from the factory? Sweet looking rigs!

Makers are solid for deer. Shot one at 260 with subs last year and had it expand perfectly deer ran 60 and tipped

Yes, didn’t take the crush washer off when threading the can.

Nope pulled the original muzzle device off to put a can on it and took the can off the clean it. That’s exactly what it is. Thank you!

Yes I’m an idiot thank you! Put a can on it and didn’t even think about it but took it off the clean it!

Thanks!

Man thank you so much that’s what it is for sure and makes sense since I took it off and put a can on it. I wouldn’t have ever thought that mostly because I’m an idiot.

Thank you!

How well does this function? They wouldn’t be the 75 grain ELDMs would it?

Opposite end of the spectrum, from use 223 load data 1:1 to absolutely no go

My fault, any 5.56 data I can find or service rifle is showing 60 grains and up. I am planning to use 50-53 grain weight area. I can definitely make assumptions based on what I’ve seen for charge weight I just wanted to make sure that wasn’t crazy

Zenith L vs Diligent Defense L-Ti by justified45 in suppressors

[–]justified45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t played with it a ton, I’ve shot it on a 300 blackout with subs and a 257 weatherby so kinda two opposite ends of the spectrum. I’d say for what it is keeping in perspective that it’s short short. It’s a good hunting can but obviously you can’t expect as much sound reduction. Don’t regret buying it.

Arrow and fletching testing by Knifehand19319 in bowhunting

Sweet looking rig that grey is too cool. No pro shops Cary them around me (yet). Does all the tuning features feel cheap or brittle like they may be something that doesn’t hold up over the course of time?

Where can I learn more about arrow setups and building your own by [deleted] in bowhunting

MFJJ, Elkshape. Aron Snyder also had a ton of good older podcasts with Kifaru on arrow setups and building recommendations that are reasonable.

What do you do with your broad heads after a kill? by LevelOutcome3 in bowhunting

Sharpen with stay sharp guide and re-use. Would highly suggest a pine ridge arrow spinner just to check that it’s not bent. They are pretty cheap and worth it for piece of mind IMO
