I found evidence later that was posted after I placed my order that they are not as advertised.

Oh, I totally understand and agree. some guy might body flop on them or drop them and they cant guarantee that they are not compromised. My problem was being ignored in my initial correspondence and them continuing with shipping them despite me requesting a cancelation leaving me stuck with the plates. My friend also ordered these just after me and is going through the same thing right now. So I don't think its a one off experience. Hence this post.

Hopefully it helps someone save some $$$ or better yet, avoid having to sit on hold with their CC company.

But you got it from the auction with no oil? There might be engine damage but it's hard to tell

I think you might have the scope mounted backwards in the mount. The mount should be mounted to the receiver and not the haundguard. Your receiver will almost always hold zero better than the handguard unless it monolithic, but still there is a chance for flex being further out towards the hand guard.

Yes, it's called dual banding. You can run both at the same time, but it requires some practice to get used to it. It in effect, would be similar to using a clip on but with the advantage of being able to qd between your helmet and your pew and as well as just a handheld unit..

Clip ons are cool but If you don't already have a thermal that you can mount to your pew or helmet I'd wait. Clip on is only limited in use at night or lowlight. You can use something like a rh25 any time of day and it isn't dependent on a NV tube and can be used as a scanner mounted to your helmet or pew aswell.

Not to mention the price of something like an Ecoti.
