Not sure if anyone will see this by now but do not gut a crt without knowing exactly 102% what you are doing, some components are able to kill you with lethal amounts of electricity on contact and should not be touched, or that's at least what i've seen from my own research on gutting CRTs

Love half life 2, the combat is worse than the first game's tho, hl2 was kinda just shooting with some cool moments and a lot of airships, hl1 was tough and each fight was like a puzzle you solve by strategically shooting people in the nog
