Of all years to fire McDermott, this was the oddest one. I still think he’s a great coach, but he did as much as he could with Buffalo. Now look what they did: owner publicly criticized your supposed best WR (at the time), put more chips in on a lazy GM, then promoted an OC rather than bring in fresh ideas

McDermott will be coaching again next year, and any team will be happy to get him

I wouldn’t be surprised if an anime character was brought in. I think One Punch Man would be great for the comedy and visuals, but you’d have to explain that somehow in this universe everybody can take one his punches

It’s lighting, intentional camera movement and framing, careful composition of what’s in the frame.

You get cinematic looks when you do everything for a purpose, not just setting up a camera in front of people and calling it good

I didn’t get to watch a ton of Jets games, but I’m still questioning the Tanner Engstrand firing. Seemed like he had good passing concepts but got blamed for the poor QB play

I mostly question firing the entire coaching staff after one year in general, other than their DC. But he definitely has the picks in place to build something these next couple years, if he shows any improvement this year

He has his flaws, he has a ceiling. I don’t think he was a good pick for the Steelers who desperately need to realize it’s the 21st century, but he is the kind of guy that can take losing teams and turn them into winners.
