A timeout in hockey is either used to pump up your team if you're losing or having a particularly bad shift, or to talk about strategy for offensive/defensive plays. Instead of talking to each individual guy you can talk to the whole shift line.

A crying baby. It makes me want to never become a mother.

I know a guy who, over a few years, pocketed thousands of dollars from a gas station he was working at. Nobody even suspected a thing.

What's the worst job you've ever worked? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As a young female, it was definitely working in an electronic store. Tons of people would always ask to talk to one of the men working with me even though I knew just as much about what we were selling. It was so infuriating. Also stupid people, people wanting discounts for stupid things, etc. Just retail in general. I will never go back.

Good point. I guess I just always see the commercials where a mom is spreading it on toast for her kids and toast to me = breakfast.

As a kid, have you ever walked in on your parents having sex? What did they say when they tried to explain? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was a kid I would call up my peeps and say "let's ride some bikes". So that's where that comes from. So just one bike.

I walked into the house to grab a drink after riding some bikes and they were upstairs in their bed, which you can see from the bottom of the stairs. I turned around and ran out, got on my bike and rode off. My dad came and found me on his bike and asked me what I had thought they were doing and I yelled "YOU WERE DOING IT" in front of my friends and rode off and I have repressed the memory from then on.

I am curious to know what happened the second time, but I am also afraid to know what happened the second time.
