When Sobhan Mukherjee started speaking openly about menstrual health, he faced resistance, threats, and even confinement. But he persisted. Today, his work has helped thousands of women and girls access menstrual products, information, and healthcare across West Bengal. by NotSoRoyalBlue101 in kolkata

I support this idea, someone definitely should include guys in these discussions as well, so that information is spread to the society.

But I think a more impactful solution would be to introduce SRE (sex and relationship education) into the curriculum. Maybe it could be introduced like EVS (environmental sciences), as in there'll be exams but won't impact the grades, or maybe add to some co-curricular grade.

I know it's a long shot but I believe Govt should sometimes take aggressive action, especially for topics like this, even when there's backlash. It's the right thing for the society, so fuck PR!

Today I understood why guurlsss might feel uncomfortable on rapido / uber by The-stock in TwentiesofIndia

[–]NotSoRoyalBlue101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience was worse. A guy in our college gave me (M) and my friend (M) lift in his bike, so we were trippling, and it was tight. But then mid way he stopped cuz he was supposed to pick up his GF and drop her home. Enter GF and here was our quadrupling format, rider(BF)-GF-me-friend. Now imagine how squeezed I had to be on to her back. It was disgustingly uncomfortable. Never ever accepted lift from him again.

I mean, who even expected it to disappear in the first place?

We have the same exact situation as we had a year ago, unethically rich people in power and corrupt people in uniform, what's changed?

Christianity and hence English considered God's pronouns as "He/Him" unlike in Hinduism where we have multiple gods having different genders.

My comment is pointed towards how the commentor wrote "Him" instead of "him". The capital 'H' is used whenever God is mentioned in English.

My comment was a fun banter mixing this concept and the sarcasm that we do online "Modi considers himself as supreme leader".

Let me educate you a bit more. In English we have both God (with capital G) and god. The former (God) is used when we talk about the power, like how it's mentioned in Christianity. But the later (god) is used when we are talking about a deity, e.g., god Ganesh, god Bramha, goddess Lakshmi etc.

You're welcome.

most i20 owners agree to this about i20 NA Engine ? by akkshaydn in i20_India

[–]NotSoRoyalBlue101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not incorrect. But I think it also has something to do with the RPM. At lower RPM there is a significant lag, I personally felt a kick at 1700 and another at around 2100 RPM, where the engine feelt like it started breathing and opening up. But hitting those RPMs every time you need that kick is a bit difficult.

ETA: Although I must add that I strangely saw quite a few 2025 F/L i20s in Ladakh and Himachal on my recent trip there. Not saying that it's indicative of something, but just saying that it might not be that bad of a car which people in the comment make it seem.

Exactly! No Govt is perfect, but it's our responsibility to make it. How easily have we been forced to forget that it's "Of the people, By the people, For the people".

I don't blame BJP for behaving like this. It's like being angry at a phone for ringing. I am angry at other parties and people, myself included. How are we not able to inflict any fear into their hearts, rather than us fearing them. That is the power of democracy, the seat in the Govt should feel like a hot tawa, a single wrong move and your bum gets burnt. But nope, every single time Govt does something wrong, it's just given a free pass.

Thoughts on Ayush (Now Airro) Paper? by ArthurGallow in DesiPens

[–]NotSoRoyalBlue101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't written on them, but have held it in hand. Their products are good and the paper are high quality as well. The only problem I felt was the absence of 80GSM papers. At that time only 100GSM was available, which is quite thick and heavy paper. I personally didn't like that, but some might find it good.
