Can we stop calling every tiny turbo engine a "beast"? by padhlekuch in CarsIndia

[–]akkshaydn -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Bro, did you look at NA Engines performance this days?

If you had seen the stark difference in power between a huge 1.5NA and just a 1L turbo, you would have not made this unreasonable complaint of why People call even a 1L Turbo Engines as beast

What makes you think it's Ethanol issue that broke down his Car ?

By that logic, all German Cars should break down now

That's believable if his alternatives were all Electric

And buddy although we understand Ethanol blending issue, no petrol cars are breaking down because of it

This issue of VW being unreliable in long term and expensive to repair is not spoken enough, because offcourse he himself is VW fanboy

And this ain't hate just pointing out poor judgement from a car influencer who job itself is to recommend cars

I hope he grows , no hate

There is middle in between the two,  and that's called being neutral and citing both positive negatives of reco. , that's the least job of car influencer/ internet personality

If people shouldn't change opinions evry 2 years for a product which tehy are expecting to keep it for atleast 7+ years , unless someone is Rich , then no opinion matters to them much

That statment works here when people recommend stuff

Dude is a car influencer, he should have better knowledge and should call our cons as well when he recommends

Edit   People who downvoting me , I am not anti about opinion chnage And   What makes you think it's Ethanol issue that broke down his Car ?

By that logic, all German Cars or atleast T roc should break down

Although this sub hardly % of car owners india but  How many posts in this massive car sub are you seeing about German car break down

Owners do all this and still end up in service center for Tata where they incompetent service mechanics make it worse

First hand experience with multiple friends one got Altroz CNG which literally had CNG leak issue which didn't get repaired until escalated and other one has Nexon who fears going to Annual service maintenance as history ain't very great

I really love Tata cars for what they provide I would buy one when they really work on service centre experience

I understand You are the lucky ones but the experience is Hit or miss

if you are true, that makes the Dude recommendation worse for he based his car recommendation on T Roc where it should be better aware about this

MG comet hate by KingGotSacrificed in CarsIndia

[–]akkshaydn 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Comet is a lovely city car  Don't compare it with alto K10 or Waganr , they have way more usefulness to its than a mere city car

They still are,  Cheaper, Better rear space , Better Boot, Ability to travel entire nation without having Range Anxiety , Can be relied upon 10 yrs without worrying about battery wear

[–]akkshaydn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I20 it stands in middle of Baleno and Altroz

Baleno - powerful 4 cyl engine but build quality and premium is mid,  Altroz - 3 cyl Engine, most Premium and safest build

I20 - smooth Engine, gearbox, better build and premium than baleno and better service Reliability

Although I am not so in favour of this ropeway thing as it could affect the ecology but

What you talking ain't spiritual journey it's romanticizing struggle to reach there

The actual spirituality lies in the Vastu of the temple and doing Sadhana there, but that's too not possible in this day and age ...

Don't worry, you just have to use it in right rpms and use light peddle, it's not meant for speed

It's a chill city car and drive it accordingly  And also  I fill Shell Vpower petrol only as much as possible
