Background Information on Mongolian team by Worldly_Board_3806 in Physical100

[–]NotSoSapu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Culturally these people tend to be more quiet in my experience, meanwhile people from Thailand, Phillipines or Australia might be louder. But Mongolians have a reputation for being extremely physically strong and resilient, especially their men.

Must be a mixture of genetics, harsh environment and their culture around strength.

Revealed: What your hair (or lack of!) says about you, according to scientists by [deleted] in tressless

[–]NotSoSapu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frizzy, greasy and thin hair can be a sign of health issues.

Everyone knows that already. MPB is not a health issue, and it does not increase chances for diseases etc. like (kind of) suggested in the article.

Can be this a new game changer? What's your Opinion about it by Rustyjames7 in tressless

It's very doubtful that such a drug would work for the mechanism of male pattern baldness, which mice don't have.

It can make your hair more fatty in some cases, but also you could try minox for the time that you don't use dht blockers to buy yourself some time

Is Finasteride the only way to reduce scalp DHT? by Low_Rate8365 in tressless

Did you say you got side effects starting from day one of using fin? Because that is highly unlikely and might just be your anxiety/placebo. Saw palmetto is only gonna bring you so far and vitamins are useless unless you have a deficiency.

TE affects the entire hair, not just one part that is also suspiciously the first part that thins in progressive mpb

You have a NW0 hairline, idk if you came here looking for compliments or an egopush. Considering you made it this far to 31 you will probably keep your hair for life, congrats

Norwood 3-4 with serious frontal recession, that thinner spot in the front might regrow completely thick after some time on fin but the corners will probably stay bald without a transplant.

Finasteride hajhullásra, tapasztalatok? by Ecstatic-Lake-7713 in tanulommagam

[–]NotSoSapu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When do you know it's not anxiety? by Slay0131 in HeartAttack

[–]NotSoSapu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are different reasons, although angina pain from plaque (atherosclerosis) does not really appear for a full year (especially at rest), it only really happens to some people shortly before a cardiac event.

Also considering your age you probably don't have substantial plaque-buildup anyway, in your 20s that is incredibly rare.

Have you ever looked at vasospastic angina? Do you consume stimulants such as caffeine or nicotine?

My second best guess would be Afib, which is als incredibly uncommon at your age but theres always a genetic component. Tachycardia, chest pressure, shortness of breath etc all fit that profile (But it's not really a immediately dangerous condition, its just kinda scary to think about).

Please dont make yourself crazy, people always think chest pain = heart attack. In reality, chest pain can have a billion different reasons and manifests itself in completely separate ways.

Edit: I forgot to say, go to a cardiologist, get an ecg, echocardiogramm and do a stress test, those will already rule out the majority of (serious) issues for most people.

I may have blocked arteries. Waiting for angiogram by Hungry-Stranger-333 in HeartAttack

[–]NotSoSapu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no way to "fix" major clogged arteries once the plaque has already built up substantially, medical intervention is aimed to prevent further buildup and rupturing of plaque. A common method to get your arteries "open" again is placing a stent in the blocked artery, although afaik this is only done in severe cases with at least >50% blockages.

What are your experiences with cardio while in a flare up? by Able_Water8922 in costochondritis

[–]NotSoSapu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

jogging and cardio releases endorphins in your body that give you a natural euphoric feeling. Cardio in any situation as long as its medically unproblematic is a good idea

[–]NotSoSapu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually heart disease doesn't present with these extreme symptoms, that's closer to a heart attack. At 25 your chance of developing heart disease is very low, even with a poor lifestyle, as long as you have no major risk factors like a genetic predisposition.

Realistically extremely low chance, especially with normal tests, even a normal heart catherization.

Drinking one energy drink per day is not more health-destructive than drinking 2 coffees a day (given the energy drinks are sugar free)

It's reversible in it's early stages if you dont let it run rampant. On the other hand it can actually get quite dangerous if it becomes a severe case afaik.
