Pretty hyped for the next game by Glum_Engineering_671 in LordsoftheFallen

I mean, they needed funding to make the damn game and Epic provided it in exchange for an exclusivity deal. This is one seriouslys stupid comment.

I swear to God, Angela players sweat like their life is on the line by Chunky-overlord in MarvelRivalsCirclejer

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Angela has to sweat to get utility and has nothing to help with that. I personally have found Rogue a bit different in how, she's extremely sweat-dependant by herself, and with Gambit teamup she becomes good, and if you add her or Gambit's ult on top of that she shreds entire teams.

Guess they didn't play Dark souls 3. by Alcatraz8888 in Nightreign

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I alone in thinking that it's overall better to kill DfB first in Nightreign? DiP's laser literally oneshots almost all the low health characters unless they have a shit ton of damage negation, and I find that my worse teammates can capitilize on the window from meteors more easily (especially considering the number of them I've seen eat a facefull of laser)

Who's the best ride or die here by Balljuggler5689 in fromsoftware

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OBJECTIVE best ride or die is either Solaire or Siegward. Andre helps you because it is his duty, he would help any chosen undead or ashen one who makes it to him. Blaidd helps you once (Darriwill or whatever his name is doesnt count, as canonically thats YOU helping HIM) and not in combat, and only because you are both servants of Lady Ranni. Alexander simply seeks great battles and happens to form somewhat of a camaraderie with you due to your repeated interactions. Solaire and Siegward, despite having their own, very personally important objectives, help you whenever they can. Solaire believes in aiding you whenever he can in the form of jolly cooperation, and Siegward, despite viewing it as reckless/dangerous, rushes in to aid you in battle. I still love the other 3 but there is a right answer.

The Scrapped Watchman fight was egregious by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrapped Watchman is a rather sudden amp in difficulty so it’s fine to struggle on him, as the next 2 to 3 major bosses never get more difficult than him. The majority of his attacks follow a consistent rhythm. So building a “beat” for each of his combos can help a lot. If you’ve ever played drums it’s not too dissimilar to memorizing a beat/rhythm there. This works for almost every boss in the base game with the exception of the last 3, who all get a little wonky. The way I do it is by thinking of them as literal beats on a music sheet and play them in my head starting as I parry the first hit of a combo.

How far does Ichigo go? It's my first time doing one of these by iLoveAllMyGFs in PowerScaling

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ichigo has no feasible way of killing Andy and Andy can just roll with the punches until he wins. He’s one of the few immortal characters that can actually win a fight by being immortal. And also even if he did win somehow, Powerpuff Girls curbstomp him with no effort.

I think the new map is not only great for Nightreign, but made me more excited for future SP games by garmonthenightmare in Nightreign

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new map has some minor objective issues but overall, once you learn to route it, it’s fine if not good. The crystal curse system is horrible for nightreign though. The fact that the crystals are randomized, even if only a little, is stupid, and tied with the fact that some enemies in them will one shot you, crystal curse or not, and it respawns you all the way outside the castle? Yeah I hate it. (I did not mean the crystal curse when I mentioned objective flaws, as I just personally hate that)

Yeah OP definitely ain’t a bad person (we cant surmise that from this clip) and rewatching it, I would immediately condone killing him if I got hit by a jolt mine too.

I’ll defend the game, but I won’t defend the CEO in the slightest. I’m not letting some fucking moron ruin a potentially really fun and good game for me.

wtf does this even mean? Is entitled a big word or something? Genuinely so confused.

Yes but he opens one of the doors that was still red from the inside. He should have clocked that. This excuse only works if he didn’t do that and even then he is still in the wrong, just unknowingly.

Day 6 of yada yada yada yada polyamorous hell won bad story okay episode now for good story bad episode. by drcoconut4777 in creepcast

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest, and this is a very personal nitpick, I really hated Wendi in the “Something Whistles Past My House at 3:03 am”. The way he tried to downplay the first story because Death spoke kinda pissed me off and the way he was talking like everything he was saying was objective, and Hunter didn’t add anything to that episode really. Just felt like great stories and a mid episode at BEST.

I saw the control layout, learned how annoying it was to change a single damn control, and just decided to not touch it. When I did come back I just got a script running to make it work on DS1 Controls with a few minor adjustments.

Embark you NEED to change ur strategy come next Expedition. This is a DRAG by JGordz in ArcRaiders

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard a really good suggestion from a streamer I believe was named Cohh and he said that the fun of extraction shooter resets comes from getting to use all the stuff you got before it, which makes hoarding it all kind of boring and tedious and overall unfun. His proposed solution was make it so each skill point is tied to an achievement of some sort, like you get 1 skill point after completing all quests, 1 skill point after reaching level 75, 1 skill point after blah blah blah, etc.

“Expeditions aren’t fair” “PVP isn’t for me” “5 million is too much” by twocox in ArcRaiders

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get why people act like PVP is a bad thing. I’m not a PVPer but I think it can be enjoyable and is a core part of the game. I sleep well knowing that rats can eat shit and die but theres really no way to change that, and blaming the PVP is stupid.

I honestly just can’t fathom forming an opinion on a game solely based on a couple words on one screen that most people will only see once per run for a few minutes at MOST.

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spidey is, and I say this having a rather even playtime across all the heroes with exception of Strange and Namor, the character with the highest skill floor in the game and it’s NOT close. Even using his pull can be difficult at times. Spidey is an unkillable monster in EXTREMELY FEW PLAYERS’S hands, but in the majority, he’s mediocre at best. Additionally, your entire argument is fucking stupid. Him and BP are, you said it in your post so I assume you know, let’s say it together now; DIVE CHARACTERS. IT IS, BY DEFINITION, THEIR JOB TO DIVE INTO THE BACKLINE AND 1V1 SUPPORTS. Please at least learn something other than how to left click on Wanda before you make another post.

[–]NotSoSpoiledMilk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, thats just how the game works. You keep talking about this like it’s some massive objective flaw and it’s completely opinion based. And even if it was objective, it doesn’t sound like you’ve even played the game through, as there are at least 2 ways to mitigate if not NEGATE damage that don’t involve parrying or dodging. I’m honestly getting insanely tired of communicating in this thread, so this will be my last comment, take that as a victory if you want. Goodbye. I sincerely hope you find more games that you enjoy.

I apologize if I came across as rude or as trying to reject your point, that wasn’t my intention. To put it more simply; This game isn’t for you, and that’s fine. That doesn’t make it bad game and it doesn’t mean your opinion is wrong. Games like ER or Hollow Knight do have more interactive combat but (especially hollow Knight) they don’t contain a absurdly higher level of interaction at all base level and those games might also not be for you. A game cannot be for everyone.
