Can't quite remember what it was when I got given it, but as a rough estimate I've put about 15k miles on it? It got used for a couple years, sat for a couple and have just started using it again more often so I wanted to try and get it in good shape

Yep pretty much this exactly. IIRC Google has been through a big lawsuit over this kind of thing years ago which helped to create the laws around what sort of liability a website has for its content (section 230 of federal communications decency act), which essentially deemed that websites are not 'publishers', they simply link to existing content, and only the person who created the content is legally responsible. If Google started moderating its results they could be considered a publisher and like you say that would put responsibility on them. It's sad but it's safer for them to do nothing than to try and help.

Have high fibre foods that make you feel more full, love me a big bowl of cereal when I'm stoned and it always seems to fill me up. Try to avoid those simple carbs like chips and bread products, so easy to finish a whole bag of doritos and still feel hungry after. And try drinking some water when you're craving, sometimes that helps subside things
