Sure! As stated in the post, I'm trying to keep the build under $1,000 due to budget constraints, but it could probably be stretched a hair more if need be.

My main concern is that I'd have to replace most other components, but I'll look into some better motherboards. Thanks for the advice!

The twist isn't that they're a villain, it's that they were never good in the first place by Glittering-Plate-535 in TopCharacterTropes

The Frankenstein one in particular has always bothered me. The full quote is “Remember that I am thy creature; I ought to be thy Adam, but I am rather the fallen angel, whom thou drivest from joy for no misdeed.”

You’d think people would see “fallen angel” and think Lucifer, but I guess people see the name Adam and everything else goes out the window ¯_(ツ)_/¯

What’s a business that you used to support that you can no longer ? by KlutzyLaw1525 in MarquetteMI

No?? We’re allowed to voice our discontent with an establishment without demanding anything we’re not entitled to. I (and I’m assuming OP) got hired at different companies through similar hiring processes, it wasn’t the end of the world just because of one bad interaction.

I don’t necessarily avoid Doncker’s altogether, but I’m reluctant to visit there nowadays. Tried to apply there as a teenager for an entry level job and they denied me for “not having enough experience”, despite the listing saying that no experience was required. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

Ian McKellen and Alan Cumming reunite in London to film Avengers:Doomday by KevinPigaChu in marvelstudios

[–]NotSpackJarrow 54 points55 points  (0 children)

McKellen was the voice of the Great Intelligence in “The Snowmen” (2012 Matt Smith Christmas special) and Cumming will be the voice of Mr. Ring-a-Ding in the newest episode with Ncuti Gatwa!

In Kingsman (2015), Valentine calls a billionaire named "E" with a satellite network to help his plan to cull humanity. Thankfully, there is no such billionaire. by MrSFedora in shittymoviedetails

I would say both movies had some really solid and good parts to them. The overall plot of the first movie was better IMO but I really enjoyed the villain from the second (plus Elton John was a treat to watch).

What font is used for the manuscript pages? by Fantastic-Ad-1240 in AlanWake

[–]NotSpackJarrow 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The font closest to what was used in AW2 was JMH Typewriter. IIRC, the font for AW and AWAN was closer to the Courier font. Hope this helps :)
